How do you know they covered the graflex stamp on the clamp with a thin cut out of aluminum instead of just having it made without the stamp in the first place?

That’s a good question. The lever gives it away as a vintage clamp. There are also good quality pics since the 4K came out and with all the closeups where you can clearly see the finish and colour difference between the clamp and the rest of the hilt, which strongly suggests that case for a clamp cover. It’s also practically much easier to machine a sheet of aluminium than machine a full clamp replica which would require plating etc. the prop also was shown at various exhibitions and events and every details was captured by enthusiasts in the community, down to the hidden stamping underneath the Kobold! So a detail like that would not have escaped their keen eyes.

Been waiting for this. Love your content. ESB will always be my favourite but I definitely have a soft spot for the TFA/TLJ. I think the glass eye and beer tab give it a bit of a cleaner, more balanced look

Thank you! And I absolutely agree the TFA has the best features of both ANH (beer tab, glass eye) and ESB (6 notched grips, Kobold, clamp card).

I think it is TLJ version instead TFA version because the golden parts on the button. Anyway, they are awesome. Skywalker Graflex is my favourite lightsaber from the saga in all its versions. I have a hybrid between ESB and TFA
