This is one of the classiest collections I have seen and honestly, so in tune with my personal taste. But if I were to pick one it's the A. Lange & Söhne 🤤
I must say that you have an impresive collection, but I must say that if you´re planning on buying another watch, it should be a Rolex Submariner and a Day-Dte, THEY ARE A MUST HAVE!!! Afterwards you culd wear very well a Breitling Navitimer and if you can get an AP Royal Oak

Did you already get the Lange 1? Man, We have very similar taste. I chose my own collection with similar outcomes eg the Rolex and the IWC. But what made nuts was the Lange 1, I find it very similar to the Bell & Ross Vintage rose gold that I am behind of.

The PP Nautilus is very common in Hong Kong. Personally I think it is overrated and overpriced. The Lange Datograph is certainly a better watch.

So pleasing to see a watch collection that contains a real range of watch styles from the best watch brands out there, that doesn’t just have the classic flashy expensive watches that people want to see and actually an array of beautiful watches in different shapes, sizes and styles. Really interesting collection with many exceptional pieces. Just looking at you as a person, I definitely believe that you would suit the Patek Philippe Aquanaut perfectly and it would make a great addition to an already fantastic collection.
I have a few Rolexes and Omega watches and other luxury brands, but my Patek Philippe is definitely the most amazing watch I own

I would go for the A. Lange & Söhne. That is really a special watch imo.
The Heuer Carrera (not Tag Heuer by the wat) is also a great one!
The rest is also great, but it doesnt really distinguish from other collectors.
Stumbled upon this video by chance, so happy to see a fellow Drive owner (I own the Silver dial). The Cartier was my first luxury purchase and next in line are the Rolex Datejust 126234-0015, A. Lange & Söhne 140.029 and hopefully a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1r one day !

Probably one of the best watch collection videos I've seen. Content, editing, superlative information, all wrapped up in less than 14 minutes! Your collection isn't bad either. I bought my Rolex Sub no date last year from an AD I've known for awhile. Like you, he came through. Got the watch in less than 2 weeks! My next will be a GMT II Batman, (or a Pepsi) but I'm antisipating a much longer wait!

Lange 1 and the datograph are most definitely my personal grails. Otherwise I’d love a breguet classique model with a clean enamel dial

Looks great on bracelet and even better I think on a strap. One tip....pronounce it “ten sixteen” not “one zero one six” Sounds cooler ;)

Love the elegance of your videos, and your watch collection is perfect (i.e. matches my idea of what is great and gorgeous, including the Swatch at the end). I have been dreaming of an A Lange & Sohne 1815 in pink gold since I discovered the brand - good luck in your quest for the Lange 1.

A. Lange & Sohne > Patek. I also am a big fan of IWC. Every watch IWC makes I could wear.
For some reason (design, feel, etc.) I just do NOT like VC. Even trying to be objective with the brand, I can't see them being in the "Holy Trinity" anymore. I think A. Lange & Sohne (ALS) easily beat them and AP as well, albeit I like the Royal Oak very much (but that's the only AP). I can see how people like Patek (it's got so much going for it). In my opinion: ALS > Patek >> AP >>> VC.

A.Lange&Sohne ...my dream watch
You have a lot of amazing watches. What’s your thoughts about the A. Lange & Soehne Zeitwerk? I could watch a video of its movement for hours. The brand itself has become my top at the moment. A watch that’s a little closer on the attainability for me, although still out of reach at this time is the Tag Monaco, Gulf racing model. I’ve always loved the look of the Monaco and the Gulf colors just seem to draw me in. I just dream about being at one of the great racetracks around all the race teams as they prepare for the coming race. So far the nicest watch I’ve been lucky enough to afford is the Tag Carrera PanAmericana edition. I have several other low end watches, a few from a couple months of the Watch Gang subscription. Nothing over the $1000 mark until the TAG. I did manage to find an older Tag formula 1 that was said to be a fake, that actually turned out to be real. I couldn’t find affordable links to fit it to my wrist.... so I guess I should say my wife has a formula 1 not me.... best of luck on getting your dream watches.
When it comes to design perspective combined with high class elegance, A Lange and Sohne is unbeatable and I say with all my conscious state of mind, no one can beat them in simplicity and classical design.
I saw Seiko and Lange and I knew that you mean business and you know something about watches, so thumbs up 👍🏻

I notice in your video about men’s fragrances you are wearing ( always in shot) a Jeager le Coutre reverso in gold, and this does not appear on this video, so I presume it was sponsored...
In my opinion your collection lacks a serious evening dress watch.. The Jeager would a perfect choice... or the Lange 1 in gold or even the Patek Calatrava ( lots of super examples available from watchfinder or other serious second hand dealers... I have a Lange Cabaret in gold, bought it from a local dealer here in Munich...
My point is it has to be gold... good luck...
That Lange watch is the crown jewel of your collection. I'd take take that over any Patek any day of the week.
Lange is also my favorite brand! The datograph is a perfect choice! For the price of 30k Euro you can’t get a better watch with a nicer movement

You are a man of taste. I like the fact that you own both Patek and A. Lange (and their most iconic models!). I would suggest you to add a World Timer from Patek as well (ref. 5110, a truly beautiful watch which I own) as I imagine that may fit your life style. Cheers.

RikkityRick I do not agree at all: not only they are quite functional for people that are plugged in different timezones without pushing buttons but some of those are very, very smart. Try the Jaeger Universal, the slim PP... If you are not into it ok, but criticise those that really enjoy them is just out of the question here. I am a collector, do not have a world timer and would love to add those 2 in it.
@@rgassaf1 Functional? Since when were mechanical watches about functions? Let me quote my favorite line from non-watch-collectors; 'you have your phone for that'. World timers are downright UGLY and are overpriced. The fact that second hands run MUCH harder hits compared to other models shows.

Amazing watches. Especially the a lange and sohne. If I were you I'd sell the nautilus- I thinks its overpriced on second hand markets by people with more money then sense. Personally I think a few with yellow and rose gold would really compliment. My grail at the moment is a reverso. JC is my favourite brand
Yeah, the 5711 is not for sale. It is my most worn watch. I did acquire the Vacheron I mentioned. And a JLC is definitely in my future--amazing brand.

Oh god there's so much here to love.
The Nautilus is just in a class of its own. Loved the story with it, really illustrated part of the allure of this watch. Must have been a moment of hesitation parting with so much money but you know it's a safe investment.
The Seiko at the start is really cool, I've got one myself and completely agree - the fabric strap makes it great with a T-shirt or a polo.
But the absolute, undisputed winner for me is the Lange. The dial is just... beautiful. Really clear German influence on the design, crisp, finished perfectly, but the thing that makes it really special (at least in my view) is that back plate and the movement. It agonisingly beautiful. I doubt I'll own one of these for a long time (hopefully one day) but I held one that my friend owned and my lord, it was just beyond belief. I could have sat and watched it tick for hours.
If I had one suggestion, have you ever considered getting some really vintage pieces? I've got a 1942 Jaeger Le-Coultre Military watch and it's always an awesome conversation starter with watch guys I meet. It's a tiny dial (31.5mm) but on a hot day with a white shirt, it's a great way to dress up a casual look.
Anyway, brilliant, honest and humble content. Nothing tacky, no mention of cost or bragging about your collection. Just a run through of a beautiful set of watches. I doth my subscribe button to you good sir.

Ask people in the watch world what A. Lange & Söhne they don't like. It is very hard to find some that will be able to pick one. Now try it with any other brand. IMHO A. Lange & Söhne is the best brand for dress watches. No bad ones.

I’m with you on the Lange 1; that is my “grail watch” as they say...specifically the grand with moon-phase, yellow gold.
Your taste in watches kind of makes me think of a slightly dressier version of my taste. Good stuff! The next watch for me is the silver dial version of the Ingenieur :)

My all time fav brand
I just purchased an AP Royal Oak chrono (rose gold case/bracelet with black dial) which was probably a grail watch for me. I'm also looking at the Grande Lange 1 with moonphase in rose gold. That's probably in the running for grail watch as well. There are so many when you start to think about it...
