- Decided to go take in the lights and the hustle ‘n’ bustle of Osborne Village at night. Lots of delivery drivers waiting for food orders which is a great sign that the restaurants that managed to stay open are hopefully doing ok.
Places we passed by: Sukothai, Moxleys Rentals, Old Gold Records, The Hive, Baked Expectations, Woyoka Sushi, Naru Sushi, The Happy Cooker, Carlos and Murphy’s, Rooster, Shop Take Care, Silver Lotus, Pho Huang, Rollesque, Cornerstone, Chocoberry Dessert House, Kawaii Crepe, Little Sister Coffee, Za Pizza, Out of the Blue, Green Carrot, Unique Bunny, Eyes in the Village, Little Pizza Heaven, Pinky’s Bakeshop, Osborne Street Tattoo and more!

Thank you! I started out life in the OZ village till 1983, loved that time. I think the skinny record shop at the start was a used comic book shop with an old German selling in the 60s. Cheers

I used to live there 15years ago..
I miss living there..
It’s still a great spot. Things slowed down there for awhile but it feels like it’s all picking up again. 😊
Nothing to miss since 2015 which was the last good year for that area.
@@thisprairiegirl8511I don't think so, it was good up to 2015 and then died hard. The Starbucks had to close due to the violence. Without a hip bunch of young people hanging out in the parks l, dri k a beer or two after work this area became a dive and a spot for junkies and thieves.
Some quaint little stores in that town! I liked the Silver Lotus 😁 great job 🙌🏻

A little Osborne st fire station history...they used to play volleyball in the front and they had some of the Finest looking firefighters..lol
wpg traditionally didn't use road salt.
it would seem they are using it like crazy in this video.
i miss the traditional city bus colours of orange and beige.

Use to party there in the late 80’s early 90’s
