Hey Tammy, if your inkjet will allow it; youll need 11x17 sized paper. If not, you will need to check the “fit to page” option in the print window.
Also your printer will need the double side print feature - in your print options it will be labeled as “duplex” or two side printing. If not, youll have to print out one side, flip it over and reload it into the printer to print the other side. If one side ends up upside down, then youll have to feed it into the printer the other way. Theres a bit of trial and error if your printer wont print double sided but it can be done. Hope these tips will help you.
      Thanks for watching.

Nice! Thanks for the tutorial. How did you do the mock-up to display it after it was finished?

Hi thank you for the amazing video! If we wanted to add multiple pages and have a gatefold cover how would we do it?

@@MylesHiArt thank you so much Myles! I recently saw a booklet obituary with a gatefold cover so it piqued my interest. Thanks again💕

Are you printing from home or using a print on demand? I created my obit but the bleed was way off. Could you do a video on printing the product out and the paper you recommend to print on

I print at print shops either a local small business or a fedex office or a place like that. That way i can feel different paper styles in person before printing. Sometimes i will use 100lb gloss or something close to that (feels like magazine paper) or if the budget is bigger you can use a glossy cardstock. Fancier/thicker paper costs more money per print, and a cardstock would need to be scored to get a good fold, which also adds on to the price.
If you save your document as a pdf in canva you can add a bleed to it. A pdf file will also allow you to print double sided prints. I should have said this in the video, so Sorry for not covering that.
There’s an explanation on pdf saving in canva here:
