As wonderful as Nathan's puns are, it's even better that they're almost always immediately followed by the team praising him for his wordplay. Like, yeah! Support your friends!
I love that the natural reaction to puns is to groan and be angry at whoever said it, but when it comes to Nathan nobody can help but congratulate him.
What I'm gathering from this wide arrangement from across the Drawfee timeline is that Caldwell was much more encouraging of Nathan's pun shenanigans and he got too cocky too early. Jacob and Julia inherited the pun monster that Caldwell helped to foster.
Nathan & Jacob have such an 'obnoxious but wholesome' friend dynamic in the way Jacob just knows how to set Nathan up for a pun! I wanna know how many time Julia had to (lovingly) roll her eyes at those two x-D
I love the consistent reactions to Nathan’s puns that Caldwell, Julia, and Willie have: Caldwell is always encouraging Nathan’s puns, Julia is always groaning/sighing in disappointment, and Willie is basically a fifteen year old who trying to stop his dad from embarrassing him on the internet, in the meantime, Jacob either encourages or gets annoyed.
I request a "Julia doesn't know what's going on" video. Highlights can include -1 million subs: Julia is drawing on a sentiq right now -Zoom backgrounds: Because of the WHAT? -Drawga episode 1: My dad told me he wears a suit -Drawing Wa-Version of Nintendo characters: Is he a catboy or a swordboy?

As a fellow pun lover and pun inclined brain haver i really appreciate Nathan's puns. Especially when it's the same one i was thinking of because then it feels like Nathan is speaking for me.

I love how Jacob's reactions to Nathan's puns are always either genuine appreciation or utter disappointment, there is no in between
I think I heard some sarcastic appreciation in there too, but somehow Jacob's sarcasm still feels like a compliment.

I think we need a "Confusing Julia Puns" compilation to go with this one.

Haha yea, and every once in a while they're just soooo mad
I love the “YEAH!” from Caldwell, followed by Jacob’s “I hate you” (5:40)
Both appreciation and rage are acceptable responses to puns
I love that the natural reaction to puns is to groan and be angry at whoever said it, but when it comes to Nathan nobody can help but congratulate him.
The groan is a fake. People who can't appreciate a good pun just don't know how to live!
