- The long awaited Ragnarok Mobile PC Client is now available for testing on Global. I give it a try and provide my honest review on the client. I'm not using a P2W PC either, so you can see how the graphics look like as well as the performance.

They should've optimized the UI for PC gameplay.
I agree. I've already send in feedback about that and hope they give us a PC oriented UI without giant mobile buttons on screen lol
Been tempted to try out the pc client. I do hope I can use one of my old lab tops to help with my lagging issues especially with kafra big cat events. I think that key mapping will be a great gvg option with the right items
tried this on a Ryzen 5 5600, GTX 3060, 32GB ram. definitely smoother than my phone.
Awesome, thanks for letting me know your specs and your experience
I'm using an older i7 7700K, GTX 1070, 32GB of RAM and installed on an M.2 SSD. It only uses 7.3GB of space compared to my LD instances taking about 20-25GB each.
I didn't max out settings like in the video but I matched them to my current LD Player in-game settings and found it to be fantastic!
The game runs as good as it does natively on my iPhone 15 without the slow load times, lag, and android overhead that LD/Emulators introduce.
In my tests the PC Client has Lower CPU Usage but Much Higher RAM Usage. As someone with 32GB of RAM this was a decent trade off. Every WoE I run 7 accounts to farm Honor with guildies, and being able to put 2 of those 7 on the PC Client helped my CPU keep up. lol
The only downsides are losing LDs Synchronizer tool and Macros.
Also logging into multiple accounts requires installing into another folder and having to relog into the accounts.
The logins are per PC not per install Folder. As in, if I have Account-1 logged in and then open client-2 it'll still show Account-1 and I have to log out and then into Account-2. A bit cumbersome.
Pros:
Gameplay Performance is smooth
Keybinds (Although can't keybind with a modifier key)
Less CPU% Usage
Smaller Install Size
Cons:
Higher RAM usage than LD Player.
Multi Clienting, while possible is cumbersome to have to logout/login each time.
No LD Macros or Synchronizer
No Native Screenshotting / Equipment Share Screen
I'll definitely be using the PC Client for my Main account at all times. (While we have access to it)
Thanks for all the fantastic info and for sharing your experiences
I tried this on a 6-year old ultrabook. 7th gen i5 with onboard Intel HD graphics. Walking on Prontera was smooth! (or maybe because Global EL is a ghost town?)
But most importantly, just a slight delay when opening time wish! On my phone it takes around 3 to 5 seconds to load. Overall pretty smooth for me, looking forward to this on SEA.
Yes, you can have multiple instances of Windows, it was mentioned in the discord that by just copying the folder and changing the name you can have several instances, plus the use of resources is much less than with emulators, I haven't tried it yet but I already won my heart the use of few resources on my laptop. btw, when changing the resolution from full screen to a smaller one, the game image is lost and the edges are cut off, to talk about having multiple instances at a lower resolution at the same time should solve this problem first.
Pc client became way better than emulating here, glad it finally was released
do you have an update when it comes to doing multi client account? it seems that only one account can be logged in regardless of how many client you install separately
Definitely running smoother than emulator and phone here.
Running on a intel i7 12th gen, 32GB ram, geforce RTX3070, so not really an entry level PC, but not needed by any means since I've played simultaneously with 2 emulators and a lot of other RAM-devouring aplications. Comparatively with LDplayer, the game is smother, loads faster and I haven't faced any sudden crashes or logouts yet. The Tears of the tyrant map in particular looks great.
The only thingh I disliked so far in this PC Client is the UI. I'm not asking for world of warcraft levels of customization, not even for an optimized UI for the PC client, Just give me a slider so I can reduce the size of the UI elements, keeping them snapped to the corners of the screen (or center in case of popups), I don't need thumb-sized buttons in a PC UI that I will use keybinds and an eventual click. Now that I can run the game with gorgeous max graphics, it is still hidden behind giant buttons.
Finally, dream come true. Is there FPS limit?
at 0:35, how do you separate the hell plant?
Mine doing 1 skill drops all plant in 1 place lolz.
You don't use the rune that makes all the hell plants come out. They auto added that third line and you cannot farm with that. The rune is called "Vine Purgatory Rune"
Remove rune that make it summon 3 at once
Hello, how much fps you getting with the setting you showed on woe?
Is there a way to change the language of the Global's client? I can't find it :(

Is a workaround installing 2 PC clients (either on different folders or different drives)
Or will the PC Client prevent you into running 2 clients at the same time?
You have to copy the entire installation folder from what I've seen. But that's pretty inefficient since you're duplicating the same resources :(
@@WobblyWallaby How big is the client?
@@RinkawaErion About 7.5 GB on my installs.
@@JoshDJX Wow, that's not bad at all. Considering I'm using LD Player's MultiPlayer to play 2 accounts at the same time with each emulator, for some reason, going for as big as 23GB! EACH!
So that's almost 50GB for 2 emulators!
@@RinkawaErion Yeah for sure! My several accounts are around 20-25gb each as well.
Can you use this pc client on ROG Ally or similar handheld pc?
Found the graphics look better and also smoother than emulators... and lower storage usage which for me was a win 😊
What's the link for PC client?
pc client + novice server update?
how to download pc client?
Does it have a window mode?
here this pc client is better by a lot. i just miss multiclient and click
Great, glad it is better for you
Hi thanks for the vid. Im from australia and playing in destiny promise server. I cant find any info if pc client is available here or not? 😢
It should be since the PC client was available on global and destiny promise is a global server

Why does the pc client still look like tablet/phone footage? They could have made the interface way smaller and adjusted for mouse and keyboard...
I think they just reused the same engine and didn't change a ton. Many multi platform games look about the same in both with minor differences
@@WobblyWallaby thanks for the response, I might keep it at the OG RO.
I think the biggest problem with the mobile version right now is the handbook. Anything, and everything about the handbook is easily accessible anywhere you are and with the powers of a PC, that issue is kind of non existent.
is this playable in Sea?
Not yet, I think EU was next to test
server SEA or global ?
PC Client is for global right now for testing
interms of loading in portal my iphone 15pm still much faster than pc client
I mean it WAS an entry level pc, a few years ago go more so, rn your spec is kinda low tbh so definitely max graphic would be hard to pull for a multiplayer game. Multiplayer games (mmo to be exact) eat cpu like a horse 😂
Yes, I cannot do max graphics for other games, so ROM running smoothly is pretty good with a older (crappier) PC
friend: what game you playing right now?
Wobbaly : ROM
Friend : ROM?
Wobbally : Ragnarok Online Mobile
Friend : Ragnarok Online Mobile???
Wobbally : Yup
Friend: On PC???
Wobbally : Yup
Friend : what the point making mobile game but play on pc!!!
ps: its just a jokeee
LOL, yes, it's weird to say Ragnarok Mobile PC
Uses more ram than the emulator.
1.6 gb windows vs 4 gb emulator, no sir
@@JAHB16 I ran 7 instances last night for WoE alt honor farming. 5 on LD, 2 on PC Client. Similar in-game settings.
LD Players used around ~400mb of RAM and PC Clients used 1200-1400mb of RAM.
As I put on my comment above, PC Client used more RAM but lower CPU usage, at least in my case. Totally ok with that with my 32gb ram.
