- So I FINALLY came back to Alien Isolation after about 2 months to try and conquer the medbay. It's good to see that good old Vlad rolled out the carpet for me and brought some mentally unstable friends.
White text - Me/Ripley
Yellow text - Humans

@@duderock10111 have you tried playing this game, the average player is usally hiding in lockers scared of the alien, expect if your an alien fan or not scared of horror games

I want a mod that allows you to play as the alien from the start of the infestation to the end of the game... to the point you can create a queen.

M3M3L0RD there should have been a queen or atleast (spoilers if u hadn't done this yet) when you blow up a part of the nest and hear a loud roaring screech and then a mass flame burst up
Benjamin Beard Apparently there was going to be a queen encounter but twas cut for some reason. Possibly to keep it closer to the original Alien movie (The Queen was only invented for the second movie)
Benjamin Beard the developers said there is a Queen down there but we don't see it , but it's definitely down there

For me, it's seeing the flashbang constantly held that makes anxious; I'm pretty sure that little light makes you slightly easier to detect.
F*ck a gun. Humans are bait and androids get rekt with stun baton and then melee. Wanna scare the alien away? Throw a pipe bomb or molotov at it and thank me later.
You are walking along and the alien is no where in site and you open the door and WHAM he’s right there
This part of the game, was literally the hardest part in the game for me, the damn thing came after me immediately once I watched the report on the computer and it moved too damn fast for me to get from one room to another, and with it being so early in the game and all, I didn't want to waste a distraction on him, only for him not to fall for it the next time.

Welp maybe you can use the distraction you would usually use elsewhere here: try to figure a place where you could use stealth instead of distraction and then use it

Use flare to distract the alien. Also throw a flashbang near the hostiles humains, you need to hide quickly after that. The alien will take care of them for you.

WHOA! Scared the crap out of me; I swear i's the first time I've EVER seen the alien in THAT room. I've always felt the power plant was a safe zone, at least until the emergency procedure is activated.

The ambience still scares the shit out of me. Plus, most of the alien encounters are unscripted. Granted, I'm hypersensitive to sound.

Oh I know . . . there's like a 10 sec timer for hiding (assuming you haven't paused the game to look at the map). So I know I need to time my movements, but I get jumpy really fast in this game . . . almost like a deer in the headlights.

My tip to you my friend: grow a pair of balls and reject the locker life, i died less by just walking accross the levels and crouching behind corners.
It's been over four years since you did this series...
You should revisit the game again. No changes have happened or anything... its just fun to see if you can remember the scary spots all over. :D
If you got the DLC's try some of those too. Would love to see u do The Basement.
Most of those single mission dlcs you get more points if you don't: Use the flame thrower, hide in lockers, use the tracker, or be detected. Additional points if you can craft items, pick up more than 10 items (I think)...
There is one more bonus and thats just to pickup only quest related stuff.. but that cancels out two other bonuses.
Either way the dlcs are fun too.
Just be warned that Safe Haven has a bug or two
It's weird clicking off of one Alien Isolation video and onto another and not only are they in the exact same area but basically following the same path.
At the begging of the game - slowly reading all the consoles, having fun
During and after this mission - aquired a lightning fast ability (usually a few seconds that feel like ages) to read and gather info

Lol "Now's my chance" after the Alien has showed up. You have not evaluated your risk properly, it is much easier to slip by humans then to deal with the alien. So yeah, the alien killed the humans for you, but it also killed you. When you have the opportunity to make moves without the xenomorph around, you need to take them.

I have played this game maybe 6 times and played this exact mission probably 20 times and I've NEVER had the alien in the robot room when I come through. EVER. Jesus fucking christ that even made ME jump, and I'm sitting here just watching a damned video.

Doing a no items run for your blind playthrough, on hard - though I'm still not convinced it is on hard - is insane. Items are basically required to get where you need to go.

Just walk - no hiding and everthing is fine. If you rest or hide the Alien ist coming. Very simple rule.
