This video reminds me of the first time I played FreeCiv, man it was confusing. Watching you play this for the first time really made the video way more enjoyable.
This game 's sorting algorithms need sorting lol! It only compiles properly using clang on Linux - which is a shame as it is a very nice looking game...
Unfortunately, the developers have not offered builds for Linux for over two years now. However, they do still track GitHub issues involving Linux, so they haven't given up on it. I do hope that, after the game is more fully developed, the developers can put some time back into the Linux version. Thankfully, the game is open source, so folks from the community could make a build for Linux again if they wanted. If you're familiar with C++ and/or Python, perhaps you could help them figure out why the game cannot compile. There is a standing bug on GitHub related to compiling using Boost 1.60 on 64-bit Linux.
really they should consider sorting using threads - saturating a single core with such large lists of data is a non starter. The game itself is extremely good. Just sloooow. I only know C and assembly language - maybe they could use Cython on the Python.

Thanks Troy. I also find the learning process of let's players to be quite entertaining, and I'm glad you could also find my struggles amusing. :)

Seriously, you should have learned how to play a bit before posting the first video. But overall - good work.
Thanks for the videos, one comment, eradicate the words "stuff and thing" from your vocabulary.
