Hi there. I’m a guy 63 had to get a loose bottom front tooth removed and now considering my options for filling the gap. Not going the implant route so I guess my options are a bridge or a partial denture. I like the idea of a permanent bridge but have concerns about damaging two good teeth to fit it and the likely implications of that going forward given my age. What advice would you give?
Great educational content provided here! A quick question. Is there any specific reason that you are still using moulds and haven't moved to digital scanning yet?
Can you do a video on mouthwash and if you should be using one? When/why? A lot of channels recommend brushing, flossing and then mouth wash. I use it at work when I can’t easily go brush my teeth after meals, is this effective?
@@GuerreroDelInfo Yes. So far so good. The only draw back is the tooth sensitivity while wearing the temporary crown work, once the permanent is placed it's fine.
The margins are more likely to be hidden for years to come. When at the gum level, the slightest recession will reveal the margin. Any crowns I put at the crest of the FGM, the follow-up years down the road is embarrassing, even the ones that looked amazing at first. I wish I could go back and pit them all sub-g. Remember, everyone gets a little recession.
@@BaselineDentalI have a crown with margins at the gum line and I hate the way it looks now. And this was a “cosmetic dentist.” I have two more crowns coming - perhaps I should ask them to do subgingival margins from now on.
U cant ask money question on here, if you want to know go to mexico they have pricing on their site too, its cheap over there, i dont think u can afford price in usa. Im not a dentist but when people call me ask for a price over the phone, i tell them if you have to ask then i dont think you can afford it.
@um8440 well if you actually say that to people you're a straight up asshole. You can still afford things but inquisitive about pricing. Have you ever heard of saving for something? Just honestly how dare you.
If a dentist says get a bridge, walk away, they file down perfectly good teeth. Better to leave the gap for a year till you can afford an implant and if you're not a candidate for implant get a removable denture.
Not always the best option. Maxillary bone is weak, and an implant may have interference with the maxillary sinus. Implant is also more expensive. Implants also take more time for healing, slower than bridge. Implants also aren’t as good in smokers or patients with uncontrolled diabetes. Furthermore, sometimes the adjacent teeth are not “perfectly good,” and may need crowns themselves. In these situations, a bridge is a much better option.
I hate it when (anyone, but especially) people with nice teeth don’t take care of them. I really try to take good care of mine, but they’re still awful and ugly (even after braces) due to a genetic disorder. It’s so embarrassing, but I can’t afford implants or veneers. Folks with nice teeth take them for granted. 😞
This was the best demo I've seen so far. I'll be getting this done in a couple weeks, very helpful in understanding the process.
Watching this because im getting my bridge tomorrow.
Awesome detail! Getting a bridge within three weeks.
Hi, I am glad RUclips recommended me this video, btw I was wondering are you guys looking for a video editor?

Wow your work is amazing
Great explanation, thank you
Thanks man. Took a lot of stress away. My teeth are fucked up and im starting my 18 month journey next week. Only $14k thankfully
Sir What I'll do in this case is First Pre Op Impression,
Then Go for Teeth Cutting (preparation) then go for Extraction.
Isn't anesthesia near the infected area not recommended? thank you for the video.
You're lucky if have good teeth I did until I hit 53 or so but Suboxone caused cavity's and teeth to break off
Great video.thank you.
Implants from personal experience are a viable option, which i prefer.
Did you take pre-op impression before extraction?
my dentist just pulled out my crooked molar, im gonna have to pay for this now ^^ he is a cool doctor he gave me a good discount, i can't wait !!!
Thanks, this is very helpful
Why you did Deep Clean before u put on the bridge?

Also possibly a video on hydroxyapatite toothpaste vs fluoride?
What if you get your tooth pulled from a oral surgeon and he doesn't do the bridge?
Are u in the uk? I need a bridge on my bottom yaw
Where’s your location? I’m considering dental bridge for 1 molar- lower
Perfect 😢 how to find technician like your brother
Are you a dentist with an intaoral scanner?
My dentist won't start bridge work until four to six weeks after healing.
That's the way mine does it, too, but maybe there's more than one acceptable method. 😉
@@maricarol85 Honestly, it takes the sockets that long to heal.
Has the bridge been good so far?

Heard jawbone loss is associated with bridge on the missing tooth how true is this?
hey, young dentist here
just wondering why did you make margins subgingival? was it for aesthetic reasons or retention or something else? thanks

What would be the cost of a bridge to replace 2 upper teeth ( 8 & 7 )?

Bridges are so cute. But I don’t like the bone loss part

implant is the best option, however, there are patients who are resistant to the surgical process when installing an implant.

@@manxydom9879if bridges were sooo bad they wouldn’t be an option to begin with lol. Implants cost more than down payments on a car
What about multiple teeth next to each other

"there's nothing to be scared of at the dentist"
I really thought you can't do extraction while tooth is still infected or still has puss, coz the anesthesia won't take effect..
He loosing two teeth
Why
If I floss daily, waterfloss 2x daily, brush 3x a day, can I still get cavities if I eat often (like 8 times a day) and consume lots of carbs?
