- Hey guys, come and spend the day with me as I run some errands and try to get my life on track this time. I am truly kicking off these logs. No excuses just doing it. I hope you guys enjoy this. Please be patient with me in some parts of this video of the audio sucks. I do apologize about that but I am going to get a new camera so everything should be back on track really soon.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this video. I love you guys and see you on the next one. 
When I started watching makeup videos, I watched you, Jackie Anna, and Jacklyn Hill- you are the only one I still care about. The beauty gurus have almost "died" out; it is just not as big as it was. Perhaps their fan base has matured and realized that maybe we don't need to "bake that face" or "slay for the gods" to feel pretty. Many beauty gurus only started caring about "sponsors" and not being authentic. You are authentic.
And lastly, you are a Black Creator, and we all know it can be harder to create a large following when you are Black or a Person of Color.
I've followed Sumi and Jackie Aina...maybe it's me,but Jackie doesn't seem like a girlfriend anymore if that makes sense.
Sumi? It feels like I'm over a friend's house and we're just hanging etc.

Hey, my Jamaican sister, I love your channel. I was just in Tokyo. I love it in Japan.
I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Videos on Japanese skin care products.
2. Japanese makeup.
3. Real Japanese culture.
4. Japanese fashion
5. Japanese food. A lot of people don't know the cuisine is very diverse.
I was in Tokyo for a week, and there was so much to see, taste, and experience.
Sumi it’s never too late. I say to myself “You are where you’re supposed to be”. I’m a classical trained chef and I love it but I always wanted to work in the school system. In 2017 I was 40 I started working in the school system, what a blessings. You just gotta take that leap of faith.

I'll say for me as a subscriber, I watch the makeup videos because I like you and your energy. However, I have grown out of love with makeup the way I used to be when I was younger, now that I'm 40. But I will continue to watch.

Often times coping mechanisms that worked for us growing up end up hurting us later when weve outgrown the need for them... they can stunt us, ruin our current relationships, etc... i love that you are shedding things that no longer serve you & and are stepping out of your comfort zone! I’ve started getting back active and I had to do a live worrying about how and what people going to say when they see my weight gain. I use Your tutorials do put my makeup on and I tell You I got so many compliments about my makeup and hair I forgot about my weight. Without Your tutorials and wig styling I would be lost. I had not put on makeup since 2020 but I know I could count on your tutorials to get me through every step. I did a green shadow now I’m going to use blue shade for my next live. Hair already style. Firstly, shoutout to you for coming to this realization. Give yourself grace. Like you said, it’s a new venture but there are soooo many other opportunities beyond the uncomfortableness. While I do enjoy all of your content, I have felt that you are wanting some sort of “shift” (for lack of better words). With that being said maybe makeup can be more shirt form content focused and vlogging can become your main. I’ve always been interested in the dynamic of being a Black woman in Japan. I feel like that is niche but could be a very successful lane for you. And that can look like MANY different things. How you’re feeling is completely understandable. Regardless of what route you take “video” wise we’ll be here to watch. Imposter syndrome is real and sometimes taking time to yourself can help. Especially with it being that your away from family and friends. I just recently made the move from California to Louisiana so I know the feeling of feeling isolated at times.

I am screaming happy for you. I've followed from the beginning but I have grown out of the makeup guru phase. If you pop up on the timeline I always watch just to support but it's not so exciting for me anymore. When I'm looking for a makeup look I always come to your channel and I tell people about you. I don't even keep up with the other makeup channels at all. I'm excited that you are going to still include makeup but not let it be the end all be all.
