LOL, I said 30 seconds because I had to say something, the only thing I'm sure is it was the next match.
I don't know if I'm luckier or if my tolerance is higher than some, but I feel I usually find matches rather quickly. Of course sometimes it takes longer than usual, but usually it's OK.

You get the same map over and over because you cycle with people who are choosing the "map" to boost their multiplier not to actually pick that map. To break the cycle take a 4 to 5 min break in queuing up. That should break the cycle and you can do the same to avoid the same lame team mates over and over again.
