I think the last level was originally made without any powerups, as everything is doable without them, but extremely difficult. So the creator might've gotten so infuriated trying to upload it, he gave up, and spammed powerups everywhere.

I don't think he forgot, I think he was criticizing the decision to have a clear condition. Especially since it wasn't a hard clear condition, the level would've benefitted from having checkpoints instead.
You and raysfire gave me the urge to pick MM2 up again and, man, talk about an infuriating game. I've never been good at it so easy and normal are my modes but so many people upload kaizo crap to those difficulties. I can barely get a few stages into Endless before some nonsense rains on my parade. I'm so glad you can skip. Still, I legit raged at a stage last night and ALMOST threw my Switch. Luckily I only knocked it over 😅
I always play no skip, even if a level is complete garbage. And then even if it ruins my run I still go in and try to beat it. Best way to learn all this nonesense then the next time you see it you are prepared for battle.

I played the second level, you can make it across the first part by jumping across and using the fish without the vines. Couldn’t get past the second part with the conveyer and vine. Just shows how much better he is than I am
There was that arrow to tell you to go top path…but it was a little hard to notice… People want to make them hard, cause ryu, but they often go overboard…
OMG, that last level though. Wow. I used to wonder if certain levels met the so-called criteria for "hot garbagio", but THAT one?! Holy shoryukens, Ryukahr, I'm sure you can guess what can to throw that level into. #HOT_TRAWSHH
That last level is just taking the piss out of every level that is titled " super hard, you won't beat it". Stars everywhere, only the hottest garbage, and a bossfight with unlimited fireflowers and shrooms, that you don't need. Not enough kaizo blocks and lakito spam tbh.
