Phew. I thought there was going to be some cleaning that I haven’t done in over two years. Just wipe off the piston and gasket after every shot and I am all done. Super easy to maintain the robot.
about the grease, more important is the outer edge that interacts with the basket. i've had the robot long enough and did not apply the grease originally. the outer edge is what is degrading over time, the inside was hardly affected at all. it might even make sense to only apply the outer flange, not inside wall, if you want to be conservative with the lube. but i did apply it all over on my new gasket this time, maybe it protects it from general deformation, as it does seem to make it more slippery and water resistant.

For the record, thank you for this superb and to the point explanation. I had the rubber ring reversed and can confirm, that does not work haha.

Is the Barista assembly video already available? I can't find it.
All I use for maintenance is a cloth, to wipe of the body and underside of the piston.
Cool! Can you do one of these for the flair pro?
We definitely can!
Good afternoon. Tell me what settings for coffee in Turkish? Kinu M47 copes with them or not?
Will it work without the silicon on the piston 😜 ?
I still hadn't mastered good at espresso please tell me what I'm doing wrong
