Wow. Your riffs are next level. Just ordered the green brand new today and have been watching videos in anticipation. Glad I came across this one. Very enjoyable. Cheers!
I just bought one of these today! This exact model with the EMG's. Waiting for it to be shipped to my local GC. I can not wait to have it in my hands! It will be my 2nd 7 string and I've been looking for a Tele style for over 2 years now and finally found one today from CA! Anyway, great video! Awesome riffs and I can't wait to own this thing!
Had mine for over 10 years and they are something special in how it sounds and feels while playing. I've had guitars come and go and this is one that will not be going for sure, its amazing how the simple EMGs sound In this beast aswell.
Just bought this guitar (the green sparkle one), thanks for showing what the pick up looks like lowered at 4:53 , that’s literally what I’ve been looking for to see if anyone mentions it lol
@@devendasmusic it’s great ! Surprisingly good sustain, pick ups are just as good as EMGs which is what I have in all my other guitars. It’s not that heavy a guitar but it’s not light either. This was my first 7 string and first baritone so it took me a while to get used to the bigger frets. Overall it was worth the money lol
Yeah the frets do take a little while to get used to but it’s nothing major. And I’ve gone to drop F and it handled it pretty well, just needed to adjust the truss rod
Damn..crazy when you look for a 8 string..and I find you. Love the riffs and your style of playing. I almost got this a little back, but didn't pull the trigger..wish I had now.
Nice one. Have this guitar myself. I even use the same string gauge as you. But I converted it from middle to neck pickup. Now the guitar is great for me
Filthy Riffs so good! Left this video open on my tab so I can listen it daily. Also thinking to change EMG81 back to my SCT-607B, because of this. HA! Now I have Nazgul installed. Great video, cheers!
I have this guitar and I will never ever sell it. It plays so amazing and sounds so brutal. Has a sound completely different from any other 7 string I’ve owned. I completely agree with you about fishmans. I have the moderns in my schecter e1 sls evil twin, they sound too plastic if that makes sense.
it's so cool to watch a Stef Carpenter signature guitar review, cos the reviewer gives us a better demo of the guitar than stef could ever do. Sorry not sorry :D
I'm in the beginning of building my custom baritone 7 string... came for the specs, stayed for the riffs. (the third one is one of the best I've ever heard!)
@@SonicDriveStudio do you find the 27 inch scale to be cumbersome? My 26.5 inch is really hurting my hands to do some of the stretching needed, and not sure if it's because of how thin it is or if it is the scale length.
Thank you! Someone else who isn't a fan of the Fishman Fluence sound. I can see why people love them, but to me they have this "try-hard" sound. Like they already put a boost pedal or tubescreamer-esque EQ curve inside that's too modern for me.
@@SonicDriveStudio Thanks for replying. Never played a 7 string so it would be something totally new for me. I guess I am leaning toward 6th, but that new DOOM sound track makes me want an 8 string 😄
Do you find that the middle pickup gets in the way of your strumming? I have an SC 207 and sometimes I notice the middle pickup more when playing than other guitars.
@@Apricotick I would say its a 2000 dollar guitar costing only 1000. Highly recommend. If you are looking for a baritone guitar from E-II series i'd buy this instead
Riff of the year so far. Madd stuff as usual.
Love your content and especially your amazing riffs Thank you! :D
Love your riffs, cleans and leads! But most of all I love your tone! Keep it mate, it's always a pleasure to watch and listen your stuff)

I've started working on that actually...

Oh my god that lead melody is beautiful
You have the best riffs on youtube
Thank you! :)

Nice man, I need this guitar!
Cool. I gues, we should wait for reviews of all your guitars.
I'm planning on it but it's a lot of work so it will take some time to get them all out :)

dream guitar ♥
I love ltds too, because of Fit for a King! They make great riffs, especially Bobby lynge.

This is a Post-Hardcore/Metalcore machine!
I’m sure you can do all genres on this bad boy though.
You are a riff master, I could listen to you all day.Do you play in a band? You are awesome man!
I need your gear man! You must have a very good job !
Man the bass string on this guitar plays with some freaking authority. That 27in scale really gives some oompf to that note.
It sounds HUGE!
Do you know what gauge that string is? Does the scale allow them to use, you know, guitar strings on there and not railroad ties?

That lead parts are badass
I love emgs but Duncan invaders blow my freaking mind when plugged into my evh 5150 III, I just bought a schecter hellraiser, im excited af
i wish they would bring back this model. was about to grab one but then i saw the green n changed my mind
What drum software do you use? Your drums always sound so well done.
I want this guitar so bad. Gonna have to save for awhile 😳
Yes, go save! I'm saving too

I have both the green and black. I have yet to switch the emgs out. I like that I can go back and forward with Fishman and Emgs
Awesome!
hi. great videos and sound as always! what amps in Helix?
Badonk with a boost pedal
I did hear that it has a position on where you can switch the pickups to be passive sounding. How does the passive sound compared to the active sound?
Great Riffs bud!! What tuning in the beginning? BEADGBE?
Need to hear this through the mt15
Also, by any chance do you know what model case fits these? Mine never came with one. And I really wanna buy a case for it.
Man that riff is nasty
Hi dude.. which one would you prefer, pod go or hx stomp, for sound quality? 🙏
Great as always! If I was to buy an affordable baritone guitar. What would you recommend?

Hi there! Nice review. What’s the background music during the review?
That's from the Valhella album. It's also on my channel!
Review for Shaun Morgan's signature schecter?
So, you want 7 string or baritone?
Yes
Damn!
Oh dear
I can smell my own demise here
Мощь! Как называется стиль в самом начале? Играю и не знаю.
Do you find that the middle pickup gets in the way of your strumming? I have an SC 207 and sometimes I notice the middle pickup more when playing than other guitars.
No, the middle pickup has been lowered all the way
I always say drop tunings are NOT the answer, but more strings IS.
Really wish they made this in a shorter scale
What about Helix Native patches?
What is the tunning of the guitar? Im confused because of the baritone scale. Does the first note is an E?
Does the tape at the bridge and nut really help? Any impact on sustain?
It helps a lot. No impact on sustain at all
do you have a band? If no, I think you should make one haha seriously though
Me la pido!
You have all the lollies in the world.. oh man, I envy you. lol
Where did you find this version of this guitar? I really want it... I don't like the green sparkle one with the fishman pickups
This is just the old version. You can find them used

New Ownhammer IRs for heavy riffing?
Yup! Can't say a lot about them except that they will be Line 6 Marketplace exclusive.... More info soon!
Sonic Drive Studio Cool! Was a cheeky comment, I know. Cheers
Tunning Please?
fluence pickups ?
Nope. EMG's! I prefer EMG's but I also talk about that in the video
