- The 2017 Georgia Bulldogs football team has had a magical season, finishing with a regular season record of 11-1, upping that mark to 12-1 with a dominating victory over the Auburn Tigers in the SEC Championship in early December.
On January 1, 2018, the Dawgs played their first ever College Football Playoff game in Pasadena, California - The Rose Bowl.
This was the first time the Georgia Bulldogs had played in the Rose Bowl since 1943.
My family and friends in this video could not make it out to Pasadena this time with the thousands upon thousands of other Georgia faithful, but we had one helluva time watching what might be the greatest college bowl game of all-time.
You'll live through the highs and lows during this 4+ minute video recap of our day. What a win for the Dawgs. Onto the National Championship.

Perfect emotional summary of the game. I go back and watch the highlights and my heart still beats faster. What a game, what a video. This will make a grown man cry. I literally told my wife who is pregnant that this will be us when our kids get a little older. Go Dawgs!!!
Thanks Caleb. My two were the ones in the jerseys crying and man, I didn't really get a good shot of it in the edit, but I was tearing up as well. My advice on introducing kids to going to Georgia games. Take them. Just take them with you. You might miss half the game, but it's what I've been doing their entire lives. Seemed to me that at the age of 5ish, that's when it really clicked and all those years of just taking them to games finally paid off. Go Dawgs.

Trust me brotha, i have paced back and forth and was just as nervous as you so many times during bama games in my life, especially last two years against clemson. I know how that awesome feeling is when your team reaches its goals....pure joy beyond explanation.
Btw, if Monday is anything like the 2012 SEC championship game, we are both gonna need oxygen mask to get us through it.

As a die hard Sooner fan and OU Alum, great video. It hurt just a little more to watch that. We had practically the same emotions the entire game, except bitter disappointment and heartbreak at the end. What a great game, and I've seen nothing but class from the Georgia fans thus far. I was at the Rose Bowl, and it was pretty amazing. But watching your family and friends go through the emotions of that game brought a tear to my eye all over again. This is great!

I'm the only one in my family generation who loves football let alone watches and I had to watch this game all by myself and watching you guys with your whole family, having fun going through the ups and downs of this game... I'm just so jealous. Tell your kids to cherish those times and always be dawg fans!!! When I'm going to have a family of my own( I'm a teenager) I'm going to make sure they'll be Dawg fans. This happened in way more homes than GA fans. Bama fans here, but we were hooting and hollering, high-fiving AND, believe it or not, TEARS during this game. So much so, that by the time we watched Bama roll the Tigers, we were slap wore out and calm as can be. We LOVE Kirby, so when we saw him jumping for joy after Chubbs TD, tears. We were so happy for you'll. Roll Tide and Go Dawgs, Monday and may the best team win.

Awesome video...I went through the same gamut of emotional ups and downs just like this. From 38-14 to Rod getting the 3 before half....then dominant in the 3rd to giving it away in the 4th till the tied game to overtime. When Lorenzo blocked that kick, I was screaming and jumping all around my Dad's living room....and when the realization that all Georgia had to do was score any points, it was won.

I watched that game live with my dad at the round house when Carter blocked the kid we were so hype and when sony scored I was running around the place I ran so fast I tipped over a chair

So proud of UGA and Coach Kirby who we still love at Alabama. Man has 4 rings with Alabama. 09, 11, 12 and 15. Thank you Kirby for beating OU once again. When it counts the SEC is superior. Looking forward to the next season. In 2013/2014 Sugar Bowl Alabama played 8 true freshmen and lost in that consolation game to OU who played their entire first team the entire game. Next Season Alabama made the playoffs and OU did not, finishing 8-5. Pathetic. When it counts the SEC beats those teams 90 percent of the time. The SEC has a record that will never be matched in the history of college football. Remember when it counts the SEC wins.
When I watched this this game me a flashback to this it just gave me the chills GO DAWGS!
This is how my neighborhood did it but we were a little more excited. We yelled and screamed every time Georgia made a good play.

Hey Ross. I've actually received a few comments like yours from OU fans over the past 11 months since that amazing Rose Bowl took place. I'd like to think that with all of that filming and work, I would have posted a video had UGA lost, even....but I can't be sure. It is what college football is all about. I say, let's do it all over again this year, UGA vs OU part 2.
