Thank you, Wes again. I have been listening for a few years to all your lectures. Most of the time I did not leave a comment. This is an incredibly interesting one on Aristophanes. Thank you for making philosophy interesting with an amazing flair of comos. This is now 2023. I heard you had not been well, and I hope are getting better now that your lectures are on again.❤
I was just wondering, is there any chance you are going to make lectures about social theorists? By the way, every lecture is very informative and I am extremely thankful for that.
Thank you for another highly informative lecture and truly eye opening lecture series. However, there is a typo in the description writing Aristotle instead of Aristophanes.
Hi Professor Cecil, I know the description says this would be the last lecture on the Forgotten Thinkers series but could you please, please, pleaasee do one more lecture on Rudolf Steiner? I believe Steiner ought to be on top of the list with forgotten thinkers like Goethe and Cicero. He is a decorated scholar who's had a vast impact on various field of operations ranging all the way from the spiritual as well as scientific community. I'm a huge fan of your lectures and I'd really appreciate it if you take your time to consider doing one more lecture session on the admirable Rudolf Steiner and upload it on your channel.
Rudolf Steiner is forgotten because of reasons. He was an antisemite and only has done esoteric bullshit. In Germany, there are still schools which teach after his teachings but it's mostly bullshit. Didn't hear any good from them.
Australia also has mandatory voting, which means that a totally unworthy candidate can claim to have the people's mandate when he or she was simply the least repulsive of a bad bunch. I find this totally undemocratic, but am tired of paying fines for not voting.

I need the sponge for my heart.
yes!!
Did we forget Aristophanes? There was a play once called "Aristophanes Hat?" Did you see it?
Pratchett was/is Aristophanes :)
Yes! Pratchett is easily as important a thinker as the ancient Greek philosophers. Thanks for pointing that out.
