Faked his injury just because his brother got dropped from the test side in 2009. Never worked hard, we didn't have anyone that good that we have now so he & Shahzad took everything granted. This is what happens and I'm sure he'll not play for Pakistan again, until he scores truck load of runs and improves his fitness which he's not Willing to. I do feel kind of sad for Umar Akmal, partially because he convinced me on some points by how he represented himself here. I never imagined him to be well spoken as he is. He also handled some questions well with good humor. That being said, if anyone is responsible for not doing justice to his enormous talent, it's only he himself. Later on other people got involved, but he got the most time after Shahid Afridi (221 Pakistan matches) after putting in the most underwhelming performances. Not only that, he also should've thought better about his life choices.
