I’ve been out of the RUclips game for a bit. Had trouble with my account. Finally back and here to say this video was funny af. The sarcastic dry humor was on point, reminds me of my grandpa. P.S. that’s a compliment bc I love Gramps, I’m not calling you an old guy 🤣
Super Impressive build. I love how professional and clean it came out looks like it came out of a factory that way. All you need is some fork speed dampeners for more stability at those high speeds. For me 40 feels crazy but 60 is scary fast for something so low to the ground.
I have a question. Do think I can install a kelly controller and electric and co 52 volt battery in a mototec with the stock motor? I'm wondering if they are compatible.
I’ve got a question I have a 48 V 20 amp battery and 2000 W Vevor motor and I’m only getting around 27 mph. And I thought I was supposed to get around 30 to 35 mph?
Rough numbers. Swing arm kit $1k. Battery 1.1k, controller 250, forks 300, front wheel and brake 500, cost of the bike (whatever that is) super rough numbers
Speed wobbles are from the front tire being smaller than the rear. I still think you should go with a bigger front rim with a skinnier tire. ( 90/90 - 14) Keep those speed wobbles away.
So I ordered the ultimate 2.1 kit 3 weeks ago and they deleted the kit and replaced it with the 3.0, do I have to order a new kit or will they keep manufacturing it and eventually ship it
Alabama ain’t that far away from Austin. Why don’t I load up some bikes, come out and shoot an episode sometime of riding this stuff. Maybe you can teach me how to wheelie and jump 😂
That varies greatly, but on 40 amp hours I’ll get 30 + miles easily if I stay out of the throttle. More than I want to ride this thing in one go that’s for sure 🤙
Hey voltron, looking for some help. Today I completed my extreme razor bike build but when I turn it on it beeps once and then beeps very quietly constantly, it kind of sounds like a warning alarm like ee RR ee RR. Do you happen to know what is happening?
Nice build man, Question: are you using a Sotion controller? Is there one you'd recommend? The swingarm + battery is a hefty dollar, not sure how much I should be investing in a controller. Thanks!
In this build I am using a Sotion controller. You don’t have to. You can build a similar bike with a fardriver controller and a cheaper (but quality) battery from Amorge 🤙
How are you doing, bro? I look up your watch your videos all the time I like your different Bike builds. And how informative you are on the pit bikes anyways I have a question. I have a Tuttio sole 1 , I was wondering if you think I could get like a 3000 W 5000 W hub motor kit to put in that bike and is there any certain measurements I need to make the wheel fit? I see social has a few a bunch of companies have a few hot motors 12 inch. Do you think the stock 48 V battery would work with a kit or do you think I’m better off buying like that mini controller that electro and co. What do you think I should use a direct drive motor kit would that battery be able to handle it? I do have a 72 V /30ah battery that goes into a Surron or Talaria but I don’t think that will fit in the chassis of that bike. Any feedback on hooking that bike up I I don’t wanna spend a whole lot. I know some of those kids you can get from say AliExpress Alibaba like ocean and other makes a pretty reasonable on the bank. Please let me know your thoughts.
Ppl say electric motorcycles will never take off for a lot of reasons. The real reason is that people are building stuff like this, so there is no point in dropping 8k on a kawasaki ninja with 3kwh of battery that goes the same speed haha
The no chain noise or immediate wheelie is my favorite part of hub motors. Also like you mentioned, once you get them going they feel like they just aren't going to top out. They're great. Ever since I started using hubs I realized how much noise tires make 😂
If you were about to really lose it, no words would come out. The fact that you were still talking means you were just at stage 1 of a crash. At least for me, if I'm about to crash, I just brace for it without a sound. Then, afterwards, I make a sound that is awfully similar to what it sounds like when I'm taking a shit.

How do you set it up with the app? Same as fardriver?
I didn’t even set anything up. I just plugged it in and it went! 👌
Probably a dumb question but would getting the tire balanced help with the speed wobble
That small wheel is gunna go and I’ll add a steering dampener. That should help a lot 💪
@@VoltronWatts didn't think about a steering dampener on something so small
Totally! 👌
@@VoltronWatts I'll be looking forward to the video on that particular fabrication when you get there

I’ve got a question I have a 48 V 20 amp battery and 2000 W Vevor motor and I’m only getting around 27 mph. And I thought I was supposed to get around 30 to 35 mph?
Speed depends a lot on gearing, the controller and the battery amps. A lot of variables.
Hi I have a question I have both RSF350 AND first gen MX350. Is there a extension swing arm kit them at all?
No. Not that I know of
@VoltronWatts ty for responding I appreciate 🙏🏾 I'll keep looking
Why did it get speed wobbles what's causing it?
I think it had to do with the front wheel being small and I think there was some washboard in the road that didn’t help
The full price for the whole sotion setup with front and back tires and battery. I’m apart of the Razor group so I’m looking to build one.
Rough numbers. Swing arm kit $1k. Battery 1.1k, controller 250, forks 300, front wheel and brake 500, cost of the bike (whatever that is) super rough numbers
You probably got speed wobbles because of the geometry, the rear wheel is huge compared to the front.
Totally, I now have a matching front and rear wheel size 🤙
Speed wobbles are from the front tire being smaller than the rear. I still think you should go with a bigger front rim with a skinnier tire. ( 90/90 - 14) Keep those speed wobbles away.
That front wheel is getting replaced ASAP man 😆

@@VoltronWatts thanks
No problem
Whats the no-load speed of this motor?
I don’t know. I’ll find out 🤙
Will the minimods forks fit the razor Prospect
No.
Is the stock rear shock in the rsf650 adjustable
Not that I have noticed
Can the sotion battery fit in the rsf without the kit?
Nope
I gotta build up one of these
Totally bro! 🚀
Alabama ain’t that far away from Austin. Why don’t I load up some bikes, come out and shoot an episode sometime of riding this stuff. Maybe you can teach me how to wheelie and jump 😂
How long of ride time are you getting with that battery. Thanks
That varies greatly, but on 40 amp hours I’ll get 30 + miles easily if I stay out of the throttle. More than I want to ride this thing in one go that’s for sure 🤙
I'd love to see a Walfisk ET-7 with a Sotion motor, although I don't know if the frame can take it.
I had to look that bike up. Looks awesome!👀
I starting my first build do you have any info for someone new to the Hobby. I have a stock RSF650.
I have a whole razor playlist 👌

Is the wheelie really immediate like mid-drive? I don’t think so
@StangGT550 no it’s not. Not with this set up.
So the pegs are attached to the swing arm? There’s not much you can do with that chassis, but that’s a pretty stupid design.
Well, the deign isn’t sotions fault. That’s a razor issue. You can get this hub motor kit to fit in a SX or MX razor frame as well 🫡
