You two are adorable! Met you for a minute in rainy Ksmail. (Hope you got the leftover "wine". LOL) Good camera work and edits. Love what you're doing! If the bus/van drivers are freaking you out on the back country roads rent a car. It's inexpensive. I've self driven most of Albania and definitely prefer being in control of my speed and trajectory. I'm pretty sure you've moved on from Southern Albania by now, but we've settling into Sarande for the winter and happy to treat you to some beers and Raki! Cheers
We did get the leftover wine!!! Thank you so much for that!! We polished it off haha. Hope you guys are doing well. We actually ended up renting a car from Sarandë and drove it around for 9 days. It was fun but also a bit scary at times 😅lots of obstacles! We are in Korçe now but we’re heading up to Montenegro soon. If we were stopping in Sarandë again we would have loved to meet up! But we’ll be on the road for a while so maybe in the future!
Eating a lot of different honeys from different countries here in US including honeys from different regions of US I can safely state that Shala honey or any honey in my country when it's pure from the hives and not mixed with stuff or sugar fed bees, (some beekeepers there unfortunately do those things to make money) it's hands down one of the best in the world if not the best so you guys had a great treat.
Thank goodness you got to film this beaut this time! I feel like I’m there with y’all, third wheeling 😆 edits were sick!! Heather you’re killing this ♥️
Shala honey is apparently some of the best you can get in all of Albania. We saw multiple places in Shkodra selling Raki made with Shala River honey and it seems really popular.
13:20, that's boiled milk. Did the cream hanging on the glass scare you off? Should have tried it, village milk in Albania is super tasty, the cream that's hanging is best part. 100 euros, is a lot but the logistics is the main cause. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, that should average 7 euros per person, so that's 40 euros right there. The room, 15 euros. Boat rides(back and forth) 20 euros, bus rides 20 euros. Someone might have overcharged by 5-10 euro. For hiking style trips, if you are in south Albania try the village of Peshtan(near Kelcyre), paved road to the village, two guest houses(check them out on google or booking). There are good hikes, most people do the one to the bridge(6 hours round trip, mostly forest). There are guesthouses in south Albania too.
Next time we will have to try the milk haha, I trust it since everything else in Albania has been delicious and fresh. It’s nice that everything here is local- it’s a treat! Thank you for all the info!! 😄😄😄
@@parashqevi7415 hi Parashqevi! We are coming to albania soon and wondering if you can recommend any beautiful places that tourists don't visit atall? Where we can have a true Albanian experience! :) 🇦🇱
What’s the prettiest water you’ve swam in?? 🏊♀️

Roatan, Honduras 🇭🇳
Borsh, Albania
Borsh will be added to the list. Sadly when we passed through it was already the off-season so we didn't stop. Maybe that was a mistake
