- In this video lesson, through a hands-on demo, you will learn how to enhance and streamline an Ansys Fluent CFD simulation using various options available in the User-Defined Tab. You will use Named Expressions for specifying a parabolic velocity profile at an inlet of a steady laminar flow through a pipe, through which you will also learn how to change units for a particular variable for the user’s convenience. You will learn how to use the Expression Manager for inspecting, manipulating, and saving existing Named Expressions for reusing them in future Ansys Fluent sessions. You will also learn to use the Custom Field Function Calculator for defining and computing variables.
