Hi Jamie, the video was a really good one mate, very helpful seeing I have only just started fishing again after 25 years. Been left behind and am not as nimble now lol. Still love it, even in the winter months. Thank's again
Hi Jamie, really enjoyed the video of your session. You have a very structured approach for your tactics and explain the method and reasons very well, which help to make it easy to understand. Best regards, Wayne 😀👍
Really enjoyed that. No pressure, no rush, and time to make the most of a session. And we, your faithful watchers, had a nice look at the fruits of your labour. The mirror was a special fish, they don't often come as gorgeous as that on. And ending off with that stunning 14lb was nice too. There's a big improvement in quality of videos, from some earlier stuff. And it's much appreciated too. That's me done for now. TTFN.
ALWAYS great feed back from you Graham really appreciate it and especially when you notice the extra bit of care that goes into trying to make them a bit more enjoyable or informative TOP MAN!
Great video. As a Yank who fishes for carp I love adapting good techniques for my waters. Had a six fish session two days ago, your info will help me get better. You got a new subscriber. 🤙🏻
The GoPro / 850D combo has definitely improved the video quality buddy. Liking the relaxed nature of this and more recent sessions. You're continuing to build a great channel that's very informative, and has loyal supporters.
Thanks again Steve mate really appreciate it. This one was a bit of an experiment and was shot on just 2 GoPro cameras so I'm glad it looks OK. Thanks again mate :)
Hi Jamie ,super channel ,So much info and video content ,and easy for even those new to the sport to understand. Thanks to your tips my catches are improving and so is my confidence ..Keep up the good work ,and all success to you .
Hi Jamie, another really good video. Really love watching, and feeling, that slower ponderous fight from the bigger carp on light(ish) rods. On another note, i would love to watch Terry Hearn fish a commercial, would be interested to hear his thoughts on the tactics and bait on a water like Larford!! Kindest regards Bill
Great video thanks. You seem to be using a bayonet instead of band on the rig - is that just to easily accommodate the different sizes of hookbait or is there another reason?
hi Jamie, great vid again, I've just bought a matrix horizon 3000 reel, and noticed you said you had yours loaded with the matrix horizon line, in 8lb, can you please tell me will the one spool of 300 metres horizon line fill the spool on the reel or will I only need 150 metres, halfway?
Great video as always. Quick question I am looking to purchase the matrix ethos pro stiff 4 rod holdall like in the vid. Do you know if they will carry a 13ft rod
Another excellent informative vid Jamie Would like to know your thoughts on plastic baits maggots, caster and corn Keep up the good work Jamie and looking forward to the next one 🙂
Thanks James mate and thanks for watching! It's not something we get too involved with to be honest as they are banned in all of the matches we fish. Do you use them mate?
@@CatchFishingChannel I used the corn when i've been going for speci Carp but in my normal fishing i haven't I see more people using them and dipping them in liquids, especially the caster ones. I prefer my proper baits. It felt strange to use pellets for Bream years ago. There's mixed opions between people i talk to. Thanks for answering and i look forward to your next vid as always. Keep up the excellent work
Great video Jamie & great tips love the look of your homemade glug any chance of getting the recipe mate as I can’t buy anything like it over here in Perth Australia, it would be great to have the edge in my matches 👍
Hi Robert mate, if you email me I'll let you know how it's made but it may involve some ingredients you can't get hold of unfortunately mate :( it's jamieharrisonsheffield@hotmail.com
Fantastic video. Love how you start short and make the peg last the whole session by slowly moving out or left to right to get the most from it. Those weigh scales look quite snazzy too Jamie. What make are they mate?
@@CatchFishingChannel Not used it yet, price wise is not too bad at 11 quid, its the other 20 that I need to pay for shipping that kinda makes me drag my feet 😅
Really enjoy watching your videos as a carp angler what I don’t like about these commercial venues is that all the fishes mouths are smashed, real shame to see.
Great angling but can't help but think about how they are unhooked in the net. Possibly bending of the fins and more tearing of the mouth. Using a bigger net knowing there are big fish in the lake, stopping the fish from bending over in such a small net. Also a small cushioned mat are more appropriate.

I'd appreciate your feedback baggers, what kind of venue would you like to see in the next SESSION video??
Would like to see a river for silvers at this time of year. What's best to use, groudbait feeder, swimfeeder, bomb etc. Best size and best baits etc

Do you leave your clutch tight or loose when waiting for a bite?
On the short line I always have it loose mate but not on the long line (except when I'm filming a session) lol

Yes it is mate!

Really enjoy watching your videos as a carp angler what I don’t like about these commercial venues is that all the fishes mouths are smashed, real shame to see.
What happened to their mouths?
That's just from very poor anglers not handling fish properly mate :(
