    Thankfully we had this cold snap to help stop the progress of trees blooming early. I see my lilacs are starting to bloom.

    We should ALL be like you. Because then we'd all be beautiful. Nothing like getting caught in a lightning storm in the middle of the woods!

    The beauty of maple syrup is it's about always naturally organic with minerals from the forest. Even the Pharaohs never had maple syrup.

    It will be interesting to see how the addition of the sensors increases your yields. I would imagine it will pay for itself quickly. Plus real time reporting on damage to any lines in your woods.

    This is an interesting tool, one that I had thought of the application until you explained it, then it made great sense.
    It can also be a safety tool like when a leak happens when you have deep snow or rough weather.

    Do deer or bear cause much damage? I know from previous videos you mentioned squirrels have caused problem’s in the past.

    • @MapleFarmer
      @MapleFarmer  5 месяцев назад +1

      On occasion deer will chew the lines. We don’t really have bears in our area so I’m not sure if they cause much damage

      I have chronic Lyme disease. Northern Wisconsin has had 35 years of tick infestation at levels that ruin normal activities. Kids, dogs, goats,

      This is the first year we have had snowless woods while still tapping. When do a mix of bags and buckets. So we need to travel the woods daily. We now have made so much mud it's beginning to be hard traveling in and out. What a crazy year
