Thankfully we had this cold snap to help stop the progress of trees blooming early. I see my lilacs are starting to bloom.
Next time Nikki, take your raincoat. We do not need you getting sick, and neither does Owen. We love you!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We should ALL be like you. Because then we'd all be beautiful. Nothing like getting caught in a lightning storm in the middle of the woods!
The beauty of maple syrup is it's about always naturally organic with minerals from the forest. Even the Pharaohs never had maple syrup.
The 🦌 must face an obstacle course when they come across all that tubing in the woods 😁
It will be interesting to see how the addition of the sensors increases your yields. I would imagine it will pay for itself quickly. Plus real time reporting on damage to any lines in your woods.
We are hoping it will pay for itself quickly! lol
Hi Nikki very interesting it’s amazing how they come up with just about everything you need… May the good Lord help you get good weather for the rest of your season I can’t imagine the cost involved in such a operation you have there….
And as always you are sooo darn cute I can watch your amazing beautiful smile all day long… Thanks for sharing your videos 😊
Good video 👍 Nice to see the evolving technology
Thank you! It’s definitely a game changer
Take care of yourself Nikki, Owen needs you. Lightning is dangerous.
Time to reorder the Amber Syrup! We went through the last two bottles quickly!! Love your product, what a great family! God Bless
Awesome! Thank you!
This is an interesting tool, one that I had thought of the application until you explained it, then it made great sense.
It can also be a safety tool like when a leak happens when you have deep snow or rough weather.
I hope they work out for you. Next year when the start of the season it will be good to have an update.
Great information on the sensors and great work on your shop and always be prepared for anything and any weather's have a great day and be safe and healthy and blessed
Going to be interesting your thoughts on the new system in time, ROI, its reliability, etc. Hope you at least briefly update in future videos. Keep up the good, hard work.👍
That's the plan!
☘️Happy St. Patrick’s Day!☘️
I have H2O sensors in my woods been in for 2 years I wish I would have put them in years ago they have paid for themselves in getting lost vacuum back up quickly and monitoring my tank level
That’s great to hear! We would love to do all our woods at once but will probably just do one woods at a time… at least to start!
Great job 👏 😊
Thank you! 😃 I’m glad I finally got them up!
Good afternoon I'm a fans for boxler maple great job this work is skeptic am telling u.I work at Parker's family maple 🍁 for a year now am a farmer to back in Jamaica never regret come here to work I the weather here not too cold and mostly taping trees and leak check it a pain in the ass some time,I learnt nuff for you I take this job now as seasonal job I would like to meet you in person and know your Sugarbush too
Those units will connect with the McDonald’s WI-FI!
Ticks have been terrible for us in Saratoga County, too...our poor pup (Maple, of course) has been covered from checking lines.
Way to brave the storm, be careful out there - another great video, you are the queen of 🍁 🥞!
Thank you for tuning in!
Do deer or bear cause much damage? I know from previous videos you mentioned squirrels have caused problem’s in the past.
On occasion deer will chew the lines. We don’t really have bears in our area so I’m not sure if they cause much damage
Poncho….bring a poncho….a big garbage bag…lol
I have an awesome rain jacket but I didn’t bring it
Do you ever have any issues with the wildlife with your lines so low to the ground?
I have a question? I drove by your farm shop Tuesday where u fix stuff it looks like across form the farm .what size is that building you guys put up ? Nice shop
For that amount of taps im surprise you're just getting them. Best investment you'll make
That’s the problem and why we haven’t gotten them before because it’s a huge investment.
@@MapleFarmer we have 7500 taps and it's the best thing to have.
Too bad you didn't have a way to carry your sweatshirt or a raincoat...like a backpack or something... ;)
I certainly could do without “Tick Season” as my record was over 30 ticks in one day last summer while out fencing.
The ticks have been getting out of control
I have chronic Lyme disease. Northern Wisconsin has had 35 years of tick infestation at levels that ruin normal activities. Kids, dogs, goats,
I wish we could do prescribed Burns. What benefit the woods and knock down the ticks.
This is the first year we have had snowless woods while still tapping. When do a mix of bags and buckets. So we need to travel the woods daily. We now have made so much mud it's beginning to be hard traveling in and out. What a crazy year
@@ST-xx9rt We have lack of moisture in Western Canada & this coming summer is forecasted for even more forest fires since some fires have burned all winter.
Is sryup done?
You can always dress to warm. Can always take clothes off 😊😊
