    Thank you for the great, in-depth review of a super shallow product that you’ve saved people like me from wasting $ on

    Thanks for saving me some cash - I won't be rushing out to buy this. Far more useful is a little switchbot so that I can turn on my machine from the bedroom and be ready to make coffee when I get to the machine.

    I think you are spot on! I have a new Z-10 and the app is total;y worthless, a complete waste of time. Once you get it working and you have constructed your perfect beverage and put it in the que it vanishes when you se;ect it. A waste of time. You can do more with it it in grind density , quantity of bean used, water, milk and foam but it all goes away once you select it.

    Thanks for the video. Can’t connect my phone to it even tho the machine is showing for few seconds that it is connected to the WiFi 😂

    Haha, I suspected it to be useless, but not THAT useless. Thanks for saving me money for a completely worthelss gadget (not that I was going to buy it anyway, but still).

    Yep. Just bought the ena4 after my 15 year old Jura finally died. The $60 Wi-Fi is a total bust. Spent 2 hours trying to get it to work. The instruction video references a QR code to scan; it wasn’t on the manual. The app on the tube video from Jura is not the same as the one i downloaded. Reminds me of the A/C in the early European cars. Marketing with no substance. Such a shame for a great product.

    EXCELLENT!
    So you have to every time go to the machine to turn it on manually?! Idiotic design :)
    You are one patient man :)

    Hi
    You said you picked the smart connect over the wi-fi version yet you didn’t mentioned why one over the other. Let us know.
    Thanks

    pretty sure the "order" function is for you to make multiple coffees if you're entertaining, so you have 6 guests and you record their "orders" for 6 differnt coffees. You can use the app with Siri so you can ask Siri to make you a latte. I think you've may have under-cooked your review a little. I agree other features like the maintenance functions are quite useless.

      So in all of the completely useless features you are arguing a case that one is almost completely useless.

    This is what happens when a company tries to satisfy a market that doesn't exist, probably in an effort to appear smart-home ready, and then contracts the software out to India.

      I can’t imagine any meaningful marketing studies were done. Just a hopeful internet angle.

    Hello this is un related to this video but you my friend are my only advisor I trust when it comes to working on my 1100 vstar .... i am changing my starter clutch while the rear gears were off I missed placed my mark for the timing j have found it but I rolled the camshaft 2-3 times but I know one piston is up one is down dots all line up with the magneto but I don't know if the timing will still be the same from front to rear cylinder because you have stated 10 rotations have to happen on the front cylinder for the timing dots to line up again my ? Is do I need to take apart the clutch side and line up those timing marks before installing the flywheel

      Try adjusting the beans to a finer grind if you are not using a really dark roasted variety. If that doesn’t work, maybe post try posting comments in the appropriate section and see if things improve.

    It’s truly a useless module. I do use it for one thing. Cleaning. It tells you the % of life left on the water filter and how long before the next cleaning. That’s pretty much it. I have a Jura S8

    The ONE thing that this app could add value with, the ability to turn it on remotely, isnt built in. And on top of this, they've got in homebrewers' way by obfuscating the protocol used to send these commands. Its a shame, as otherwise this brand is rock solid.

    • @EmileVictor
      @EmileVictor 9 месяцев назад

      If this thing had home assistant integration with the ability to turn on via remote commands, you could get it to turn on when your alarm goes off and be heated by the time you're there.

    • @retrotechandelectronics
      @retrotechandelectronics  9 месяцев назад

      It has a 60 second heat time. Not that big of a deal.

    Order is for you to create a queue for guests, so you take everyone's order at once, and then you go to your machine and click on each item so that you deliver everything on one tray...
    It is useless and dumb, however that is its functionality....

    • @retrotechandelectronics
      @retrotechandelectronics  Год назад

      That said.... It seems like another example of a bunch of people looking hard to find a solution to a problem that doesnt exist.

    The lack of the personalised coffees on the app Menu is by far the worst shortsightedness of this useless app.
