You're forgetting Bulma. She does a lot in the: Gather the Dragon Balls arc - (Pilaf) Brings everyone together Red Ribbon arc - making Dragon Radars and plans Saiyan arc - fixing the scouter to gather all the fighters to train in the Heavenly realm Namek arc - makes the space ships Cell arc - makes the time machines! and Trunks...
I mean he did save gohan’s life multiple times during namek and bought them time to survive against frieza’s second form. He lasted longer than Vegeta who went out sad but his speech to Goku was well done.
For me Vegetta is the most important chatacter despite his sometimes strange changing mood... (if you know what i mean) The extent to which he influenced all the sagas cannot be denied. I really liked how he developed as a character. From one of Goku's main villains who wanted to destroy the Earth, to a proud father who cares not only about himself and his personal ambitions and desires, but also about his loved ones, family and close people around him. This makes him one of the most important characters in the Saga! Without him, every Saga would have lost a lot.
Future Trunks was the most important character of the Android saga. It he hadn't warned the Z fighters of the Androids & saved Goku with the antidote to treat the heart virus, the present timeline would have suffered the same fate as the future
Saiyan saga - raditz without him the series would've been sad. Namek saga - namekians without them then frieza wouldn't have came and equals no balls Androids saga - trunks without him then no one would've been ready Cell saga - gohan without him the world would've been in chaos. Buu saga - CHICHI without her goten wouldn't have gotten his plot armor super saiyan form.
Most underrated youtuber ive ever seen… You deserve better. I rarely see new dragon ball videos cuz the series has kinda been dying. Hope your channel gets recognition

We must not forget that Piccolo destroying the moon proved to be pivotal in the last battle. It caused Vegeta to weaken himself by creating the artificial moon thus making it possible for Gohan to take him down.
I think raditz is the most important character in the saiyan saga, 1 he told Goku about his race, introduced power levels, got goku killed and without him earth would have been destroyed and the Z fighters wouldn't have trained to be stronger than Raditz, especially Goku. Goku wouldn't have learned the kaioken, spirit bomb and he wouldnt even be stronger than nappa.

TBH bulma is the mst important character think about it who discovered goku on mount pazu bulma who created the time machine bulma who creted the gravity room bulma all of these stuff matter bulma is the most important character in db also she married vegeta which caused trunks to be born and go to there timwline i mean you cant make this up its bulma.
