So are you saying that there is a problem when a theologian heads a department but no problem when the minister of health is not a doctor? Are you saying that the president of Kenya is underqualified because he doesn't have a degree in political science?
@@user-hd3nf1qo7s What we are saying is that, it is pointless putting people in positions that they are not well versed in and when situations come that require one to have some serious knowledge and approach. I can't give someone who has a theology degree the ICT department let alone manage it. He/she doesn't know the intricacies of how to run the department let alone the skill set to guide the organization on ICT related tasks and outcomes... Hope this helps!

Degrees are the basic tools of exposure, after that you can train in any other field. Disaster management needs theologians. A simple questions why does the military need them? To handle disaster. Disaster management team goes through a lot of trauma and they will need counseling.
This is not happening only in Nairobi but also in other counties. Expert skills can only be found in the private sector. Wrong professions in the county government departments

In Kenya employments is about who you know not what degrees or certificate you have... that's how they got employed mostly likely there was no interviews done. Because that person would not apply for that position in an open employment process. Embarrassments to tge employed on public.. how do you feel walking around knowing you got a job through other means. That's why somethings dont work in some organisations.. there are some jobs that require specialist training. 😮
