Great catch about the chairman's dialogue & great interpretation of the ending. It's one that won't fully make sense until further in the story when more of the world is explained. Knowing what I know, as I have read the light novel, I find the ending brilliant and a great window into what's happening to Jin-Woo.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but to add context why the ants evolving is so terrifying. The one thing protecting humans from the ants is a massive natural barrier known as the ocean. They are now evolving to fly. That barrier is no longer going to protect them. The ants that were stuck on the defensive because they couldn't cross the sea are now able to go on the offensive. This also could mean the ants are going to be even stronger as well.
Necromancers are not undead. Only their minions are undead. Typically the only thing that makes necromancers look dark is their equipment. Nothing about their body looks undead most of the time. But apparently he is an assassin build, but he doesnt look like a typical assassin either. (Idk why they say he is an assassin build. He is mostly strength. His only skill that is assassin is invisibility but he got that late into his build and didnt choose it.)
I know this comment is late, and someone else has probably commented this already, but you two should listen to the dub for this. The VA for SJW, Aleks Le, did a great job as Sung and put passion into his performance.
Keep in mind that him getting the necromancer class doesn't killed the show because in the solo leveling universe jin woo is the only one that can level up that's makes him solo leveling even with the army of the dead.
