Lamont Butler has more NCAA tournament experience than every Kentucky player we have had since covid. He is going to be a strong piece of this team, and i love how their all experienced. This is probably the most experienced team we have had in 10 years. I think they will be alot better than some people think and if they over achieve year one Pope will start to bring in more 5 star kids, but i don't want to see a roster full of freshman anymore, we need older veterans mixed with a McDonald's all American here and there.
These players are all super smart. If you look at history on the professional level and have been playing for a few years, you will find the best players are obviously quite bright and go along with their talents. I don't know the future by any means, but they have a aurora of team spirit along with caring how each player preforms on the court. I think they will be at least a 20-win season and a playoff team. This year will be tough because of their schedule.
