    Good comparison shave Alroy👌 Not everyone gets on well with a 5-bladed cart (I do ok) so having a single blade alternatives available like the Proof SE or even a DE is a way to prevent "cart burn". Like you said a shaver can improve their cart experience by improving their software (soap, pre and post shave products). I have V1 of the Proof and I'm glad V2 has made the necessary improvements, especially the top cap coming off sometimes during a shave. For carts I prefer less blades like the Skinguard. Take care bro👌🤠👌

      @@unclelshaves Thanks Lawre, The V2 of the Proof is something else, stronger magnets and groves on the top cap.

    Thanks for another great review. I'm surprised (and shocked) that this single razor performed comparably with the 5-blade cartridge. I definitely agree with you that the power version reduces razor drag and that it is important to use the right cream. The Clinique Cream Shave is the most amazing product I've used. It cushions the skin so well you can't feel the blades as they pass over your face.

    Very nice shave, AllyDz. I have tried to develop a liking for 5 blade razors, but with no luck. Too many blades, and I don't want to rely on a trimmer blade to complete a shave. I like 3 bladed razors, but there seems to be a limited variety in the U.S. Right now, I am using Dorco Pace 3s, which gives me a better shave than a Mach 3 at a much lower cost. I get 5-7 shaves/ blade, and I just bought 16 blades for $20. Hope all is well with you.

      @@karlhelicher964 Hey Karl, it’s good you know what works for your skin and I normally say, “Listen to your skin and nobody else when it comes to shaving” 🤣
      Also, have you tried the Schick Hydro 3?

    Highproof my razor of choice not using my Henson or Leaf Thorn Single Edge . Great video cartridge safety razor is just a load of wasted money

    I love the proglide manual razor, I feel it gives the same result as a powered handle, the power doesn’t really do anything. The proglide manual razor gives an excellent shave 🪒 👍

      @@allydz my pleasure ally, do you agree with the comparison between power and manual

    • @allydz
      @allydz  4 месяца назад +1

      @@stevehayes8867 for me it’s the opposite. I always only used the power variant right from the time the Fusion power was out, and I continuously used the power variants for easy 10-12 yrs. Maybe my skin defaults to working best with the power better than the standard, additionally I don’t feel any pull or drag while going ATG

      @stevehayes8867 Closeness is the same for sure... the carts are almost identical. What razor you using at the moment
