- Today we are going to check out some Make it Mini Food from MGA’s Mini Verse. Tiny items were dropped in the making of this video. I hope you enjoy it. They kind of remind me of Zuru’s Mini Brands but they're way cooler! There definitely the right size for barbie. 1:6 scale

You made that so much fun. I suggest anyone interested in these buy up as many as you can because I suspect that before long, some careless person is going to give these to a child unsupervised and lawsuits will ensue, causing them to be taken off the market. Even though I read the title, these were so well made that I thought they were an Etsy purchase - MGA isn't known for putting that much detail and playability into their items.
Tbh I can really see that happening. People never read the warnings correctly
God forbid it happens, I hope and pray that the parents NEVER win in court. The packaging literally says DO NOT EAT so many times, and the age range is 8-18 years old. I do feel like they should raise the minimum age to 10 years old, though.
...and here we are, June 2024, Miniverse items have been recalled. 😢

You know... With the 2nd syrup bottle, you can make a 'Frozen Moment !!!
Just a tip with the resin... If you want the layers to stay more separate, cure the resin before adding the next layer.
Also you might try putting some plastic wrap over you pancakes/bread and THEN add the resin and cure. You *should* be able to pull the plastic off and then the resin can be placed over the item and still be removed later.

@@PoppySeedMini it really is a great medium, but generally makes things permanent. Which in this case would actually make doubles loads of fun as you could configure them in different ways as if the dishes were in different stages of being prepared or eaten.
I'm hoping my local Walmarts will get these in at some point!
The resin flat caps could be repurposed as macarons… so adorable! Back in the 1970s we made the food from bread dough :)

The syrup you could’ve used clear glue instead for a more syrup look. But I love the idea because you can change up the looks and colors!! 🥰

Could you possibly make the maple syrup the same way, but peal and stick. By spreading it out on parchment paper and letting it dry there? Then peal it and place it on the pancakes or waffles. When done with playing or video set up. Place back in between parchment paper and ziplock bag or something?
