@@metal4360 moonspell, cradle of filth, and some other band cover this, and the comments are all the same "this is better than the original" and I just don't agree, the cradle of filth one is sick, but the Ozzy version is my favorite.

I've always though that no cover is better than the original, nevertheless is a very good cover and i like when they respect the original solos and stuff, very good, one of the bests i've heard of this song...
Oh! This was such a lucky and by chance find! Fucking WICKED guys! I loved it. What an excellent "tribute" (if you consider it so). Time to go down the rabbit hole of your music.
Pretty Damn good. Ozzy would be proud. This kicks the shit out of the cradle of filth cover. Not as good as dio's cover but pretty Damn good. I love the orchestra in the back. It sounds epic all around and the guitarist is definately giving it his all.

despite i really like Dark Moor's music, i dont think their style is fitting to cover this kind of song :) I actually love the CoF cover since it brings to me the darkness/evil/occult i was expecting with a song about mr. Crowley.. As for the guitar epicness of Ozzy Osborne etc, yeah they're probably awesome and the original but i dont care about that :) I care more about the atmosphere which is created in total and i think CoF did that the best of all 3 songs :\ but enough argument about covers and quality, go enjoy the music!
Nate Fontana No. This cover is amazing but in its own way. No one will ever be better than Ozzy. Plenty will be as good, even more skilled - but never "better". Ozzy is a genius.
And this (my response) is coming from someone (me) who has been a huge fan of Dark Moor for years. They are musically one of the best bands from Spain and even top the list for me worldwide, but saying someone is better than Ozzy just does a disservice to one of the most influential artists in metal history, hell, even music history in general. Ozzy is the fuckin Mozart of metal. (for the record, Paganini is my favorite classical composer) :P
I think the band "Craddle of Filth" did what I was kinda expecting - gave it a different twist and swung the song to a whole new path. Though it's not my taste and style, it was done bravely and suspenseful. They at least sound modern and aggressive. But these guys, Dark Moor, somehow, just sound really, "Asia" to me. (you know, the band ASIA from the 80s). Anyhow, this is only my opinion.
Heu T This band has great harmony and sound. I enjoy it more than Ozzy's, honestly. Cradle of Filth also did a good job, as you said, in a death metal sort of way, which was nice for a change up.
Lol. It's so 80s style. The rhythm, the bass line, the drum'n...I mean, I was kinda expecting some sick recreation and all I got out of it is a 80s hair band taking a master piece and slamming it into a simple 4/4 structure with no character, suspense, or drama to any of the highlights of the song. They literally took the aggressiveness out of it and put it in a simple rhythm any first year musician can do. But it's not a bad job. It's just not great.
Heu T 80s hair metal band? Bro you have no idea what you are talking about. Dark Moor is a neoclassical power metal band from Spain and they have more skill in one pinky finger than any 80s hair me to band could ever have. Shame on you!
Yeah... funny troll comment - probably jealous that it sounds better than the original that they cherish since it's more "mainstream", being Ozzy. People and their odd "sentimental values" systems... Ozzy's band in their prime could never cover this cover.. haha!
Эту песню в таком стиле должен петь только Оззи. Самый классный кавер на неё у Cradle of Filth. Даже у Moonspell, при всём уважении, абы что получилось. А тут - вообще хуйня какая-то.
Hmmm, covers are always a controversy. Staying "trve" to the original versus giving it an individual touch. This cover is ok, but doesn't reach the original. The intro deserves much better then a midi-synthesizer. The orchestration takes away to many edges and the vocals are to soft for my taste.
This is an excellent cover. I've never heard of this band before, so I really wasn't expecting anything impressive...but WOW.
Dark Moor's got a new fan. Holy shit, these guys are awesome!!
Better than the original (in my opinion)
Cheers from Brazil!!
You did not just say that

They did a pretty sweet cover of Vivaldi's Winter, too. No doubt you've probably already seen that one by now, though.
Don’t forget The Moon too;)
me encanta esta version gracias DARK MOOR.
Grande vocalista grande gruppo veramente bravi mi ricordano gli iron Maiden....molto vicino a loro 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
que sonzera ! ficou muito fera o cover!
A intro ficou muito linda.
Pra mim esse é o melhor cover dessa música! Ficou incrível!

There are a lot of covers of Mr. Crowley
yo personalmente creo que el arreglo de las cuerdas de esta version es mucho mejor que lo que suena en las versiones de sabbath y ozzy...
Good shit!
Buenisima!
they definetely bring even more english-like keyboards to the whole song as opposed to just the intro
todos aman a ozzy pues hay mil covers de esta cancion, y me gusta mucho que también dark moor ame a ozzy y en general que toquen esta gran obra :D
@gwarmann right about that Moonspell has not only the best but the sickest cover of M'r Crowley.
Don't underestimate Dio, you sinner. He's good enough to make a cover from the deadworld and send convince the gods to send it to us here!
@ChingPingWingWow IKR!
Nevermind Ozzy, Aiwass would be proud.

It was supoused to be a question, but accidently I pressed enter
+Sinister King Aleister Crowley from D.Gray-man? joke.
Great Ozzy yes, but Genius is Randy Rhoads!!!!!!!
Friends, I keep this version

I actually prefer this to the original...ozzy and Randy Rhoads are still awesome though

Median Alcoa You should try Judas priest version.
me gusta mas que la original me vale lo que piensen los demás xD
Dude this is 100x better than the original
Nate Fontana IThat is a very personal thing...I personally enjoyed their understandance oc "what you meant" fraze.

This cover is much "harder" than original, but it lost this specific atmosphere.
But it's really good anyway, can't deny
Actually, he was a Thelemite, he worshipped Egyptian gods and sought the True Will. Open your eyes sometimes, will you?
There is no god but god ->Nile Kafir
= yo xD!
cantan bien pero es mejor ozzy, pero los respeto me gusta el cover/
sing well but ozzy is better, but I respect I like the cover
randy rhoads baby!!!!!!!!

+drServitis erh, sorry to get technical with you but they're not death. They're probably symphonic black.
i like it more the one moonspell did
@mirh777 cuz im sure your one to be giving musical advice to actual musicians
This cover Fuckin' blows!
Nice but I prefer the Moonspell cover version. The voice are better and in general all the song are better without to much arrangements.
ESPAÑAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
@RazzzzzeR Yet.
to tame for me, no were near the awsomenes of the original, with it´s severe lack of awesome screaming
Original
Could have been much better a little faster maybe, nice cover though
Again, you confuse Satan with the Beast. Satan was a Son of God, actually sent by Him to tempt humans and test us.
Lol. It's so 80s style. its fucking good but no :)
the solo is not up there with randy
I love Dark Moor, but no. Sorry. Bad cover. Idk what everyone is talking about. The guitar solos were pretty good, I'll give them that.
This song is fucking awesome
