With a different perspective, different experiences are experienced differently. Music sounds different. Not better, but different. It is different, so it's good. Variety is good, it's a chance to see something new with the eyes of a child.

Fans of this genre might want to go check the kickstarter for "Rise of the Synths," a documentary about synth wave artists including Com Truise. There are not a lot of backers with 2 weeks left in the campaign. Kind of surprised that I haven't seen this discussed much in the comments for for all the amazing tunes and albums on YT. I'm not at all affiliated with this, but I really want to see it get made.
+TheCarlos the Songs from Hotline Miami and Com truise share a common origin. Both based on the sound of the 80s Music, the Hotline Miami songs mostly belong to Outrun/Synthwave/etc and Com Truise is making the same kind but with a more surreal and robotic sound to it.

Look at almost all of his music from a theory stand point. The rhythm is exactly the same throughout this whole album and most of his others too. So you can be defensive if you want, but I'm just stating my opinion and a little bit of fact as well.
Colin Savage Com Truise is one stage name, dedicated to the "synthwave" genre. To your point a lot Com Truise does sound the same, but many would argue that's a good thing. I have listened all of Com Truise's output and yeah, it sounds a lot like someone who really loves Boards of Canada's Roygbiv and wanted more of the same (it's especially obvious here in Space Dust). Overall I quite like it but it is perhaps a tad monotone.
