Witness the origin story of one of legend’s most captivating figures in the action-adventure, Dracula Untold. The year is 1462 and Transylvania has enjoyed a prolonged period of peace under the just and fair rule of the battle-weary Vlad III, the prince of Wallachia (Luke Evans, Fast & Furious 6, The Hobbit series). But when Sultan Mehmed II (Dominic Cooper, Captain America: The First Avenger) demands 1,000 of Wallachia’s boys - including Vlad’s own son - become child soldiers in his army, Vlad must enter into a Faustian bargain to save his family and his people. He gains the strength of 100 men, the speed of a falling star, and the power to crush his enemies. In exchange, he’s inflicted with an insatiable thirst for human blood that could force him into a life of darkness and destroy all that he holds dear.

I like the concept of Vlad choosing to become a vampire in order to protect his people at the cost of his humanity and being condemned to the darkness forever living on blood
True his sacrifice so huge respect for that man.
Same , it's really interesting and like you said I love the concept and also how he turns into a bunch of bats to move around, soooooooo badass 😎
Like Arthas Menethil. Concern for others at any cost still has the power to damn you if you are willing to pay any price blindly.
To add in a sense of tragedy to it all, he failed to defend his people, his wife died, his people all died. Making his sacrifice almost worthless and cruel. But he managed to save his son as a means of atonement.
Hell yea
Luke Evans is the most realistic Dracula! His face really looks like a cruel man. He's a perfect fit!
also he does very well the paper of a married man
Yas Perfect Fit
Realistic? Lol
I liked the Dracula-Actor from Van Helsing a bit more, but ye, I agree. He really fits
Gary Oldman still my favorite.
One of the most underrated movies. THIS should have been the Iron Man to the Dark Universe and have it connect to the Tom Cruise Mummy. Why they got rid of it and never followed up, I will always be a bit salty over.
Dracula Untold should have been THE 1st film for The Dark Universe, and also Universal should have gone for either Jason Ritter, Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Paulo Costanzo, Diego Luna, Matthew Lawrence, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eddie Redmayne, Rider Strong, or Justin Long instead of that circus midget Tom Cruise as Nick Morton in The Mummy. Because that circus midget wrecked The Mummy with his ego which I am not surprised at being how it was Tom Cruise destroyed Stanley Kubrick's last film Eyes Wide Shut with his ego according to R. Lee Ermey in an interview from 2006.
I was thinking about this exact thing yesterday or the day before. Like it really should have been. And maybe the main enemy would be Van Helsing or something like that.
Imagin dracula poping out in the post cradit of the munny and saying "i heard you do not die"
Not Iron Man that goes for Invisible Man, I'm thinking he is the Dark Universe's batman
@@stainshield Tom Cruise wasn't too bad, just give him less power and remind him he has his own franchise
Imagine years of training and hard work just to get killed by bats.
hahaha
Hi dp how it felt when you decapitated from wolverine and sabretooth?
Hahah im just teesing you
Bane and ras al ghul felt the same
CORONO VIiiiiiiiiiiiRUS!
Wish it got a sequel.
With the same dracula actor
It would be cool if he was the start of universals dark universe
@@s0lgewds0lgewd16 they were, but the Mummy movie flopped so it was scrapped
@@rhysbailey6827 Very true and it flopped simply because BF wasn't the lead actor which is kind of bullshit cause that movie set up a lot. And he wasn't even the same character meaning they could have worked together down the line. What a waste
@@rhysbailey6827 this movie didn’t do very well either in all fairness
I actually liked the movie. It was rather a refreshing concept.
Dracula Untold should have been THE 1st film for The Dark Universe.
stainshield What is a dark universe? 🌚
@@KittySYT Well it was the name for Universal's shared universe with their monsters.
stainshield : I see. Well, i, the mistress of dracula, half witch and half vampire....shall make it a reality.
@@KittySYT we'll see
This is one of those movies you can watch so many times and not get bored of it
Ha.meu.Deus.nao.entendo.asua.lingua.que.pena.
Wow, it's even better in 4K DTS:X than when I saw it via streaming. Worth every penny. Nice to hear new overhead sounds besides helicopters, planes, superheros and rain.
Yesss
3:53 his face 😹😹😹😹
True❤I am watching this for the 5th time now😅
It needs to be a little darker. I could almost make out faces.
Lol
Brightness at 100% in a pitch black room.
Still fucked
Dwl....🤣
Still brighter than Game of Thrones' last season mega-battle. lol
@@roromil2441 : Oh yeah... but GoT made me adjust my TV settings and now everything is better. It was dark though.
Awesome to see the reaction from Charles Dance's master vampire. He immediately senses his time has finally come, as he emerges from the cave his face starts to heal.....and that chanting in the background makes it perfect. No matter what terrible thing Vlad is becoming by drinking her blood there is something even more terrible......Being able to summon clouds to block the sun is a very helpful vampire ability.
Elder vampire: you'll have the strength of 10 men and the speed of a falling star
Vlad: *unable to keep up with wife falling from a cliff*
Me: guess she fell faster than the speed of a falling star
that's what a full-powered blood-filled Vlad would be able to do . Vlad in this scene was only about half-powered , and he hadn't had blood for some days .
sun light, he was losing strength
The vampire meant movie star lol
wasn't it a 100 men?
The Truth is she threw herself over the cliff after being lied Vlad was killed in battle...
Vlad Țepeș was the greates of all Romanian Rullers...
One of my all time favorites. Vlad's supernatural power create the mystery and his love makes him an extraordinary hero.
If a sequel comes, it will be great.
i've heard there is a sequel, as we speak they are making
انت لا تعرف الحقيقه
The actor is really perfect. I have become a fan of him after watching the movie
One of the best scenes of the movie...Dracuala Untold was so underrated.
I Love this movie
Crazy how his people turned on him and called him a monster ,even though he made a huge sacrifice for them
Hm, if there is evil and good, and Satan represents evil and God represents good, then the one whom Satan helps serves evil, and the one against whom he is against serves good, so Dracula is on the side of Satan and the Turks are on the side of God, right?
@@adiskabiljagic8344 Not necessarily. I'd argue that they are both on the side of the Satan. One being evil does not absolve the evil actions of the opposition. They are two evils in conflict with each other. The good ones were the innocent civilians who wanted no part of it.
@@adiskabiljagic8344 not really neither of them are really good to be fair, they all use God or "Allah" for turk case, as an excuse to do horrible things.
Yeah, his own people turning on him made no sense to me. If the invaders were familiar to them, like another European country or the Holy Roman Empire, then it would make some sense. But given how xenophobic they were towards Arabs (who worshipped a different God they considered to be a demon and constantly threatened Eastern Europe with invasion during this era) and how heavily entrenched the masses were into the concept of "divine right of kings," I just can't fathom why the masses would ever turn on one of their own, especially their God sanctioned king, to support outsiders who threatened them with slavery, mass consscription, and death. More likely, they'd find some way to rationalize supporting ol Drac and double / triple down on their dedication when struggling with their choices. Even those in the Church probably wouldn't turn on him, just out of sheer concern of losing power and possibly being executed when the invaders mandated Islam as the new State religion. So although the film was cool, the people just didn't behave Iike they would have under the circumstances.
@@adiskabiljagic8344 Except God created Satan which means God created Evil, so who's worst, Evil or his creator?
That fist smash is just EPIC!
Luke Evans is the most gorgeous-looking Vlad / Dracula ❤️

Sooooo......why the fuck is there no sequel? 🤨 This was hands down, one of the best adaptations I've ever seen of dracula. This is one of those movies that not having a sequel was probably the worst thing that could happen.
Oil shieks are butthurt and would not finance it.
I agree with you 100%
Rotten Tomatoes hipster film nerds gave it a 1 star rating. Real people loved it, elitists hated it.
We want Dracula Untold 2!
We are getting it.

People now: We need a sequel, Wow
This was a gem! Poor peoples, didn't understood it!
Dracula can vanquish an army ... It was a complete disappointment that Dracula Untold never had a sequel.. it kept audience wondering how Dracula and his creator would have faired in modern times .
Bats be like " com'on guys, push push push ! Up u p up ! "
😂😂😂😂
I love the fact that he destroyed them with bats in 4K! :)
Please Universal, make another one 👀
I agree with you and Dracula Untold should have been THE 1st film for The Dark Universe.
Yeah make dracula untold 2
They won’t this movie only broke even profit wise for the studio and that’s always considered a loss in the studios eyes as they aren’t in it to just break even
Goddamn bro how dark is this movie?!?! Brightness is on full
People are gonna judge you no matter what you do, i believe a lot of people thought this movie was amazing i am one of them please continue the Dark universe

This movie and Lucy both deserved a second part Universal makes such cool movie's
Not to mention that Dracula Untold should have been THE 1st film for The Dark Universe.
I bought this masterpiece in DVD.
The Only Dracula Movie That Matters.
Van Helsing’s Dracula was interesting and seductive.
Bram stoker’s 1992 Dracula as well as Van Helsing were pretty good

I enjoyed this movie
I liked this movie and he made a great Dracula.
Being a protector doesn't make you a monster criticism does calling people monsters it talks about your character.
Monsters are the opposite of people, people can be the monsters that being the definition of what people consider monsters if that makes any sense.....!?!?

Maybe upload this a little darker next time. I can just barley make out what movie it is
I wish they would make several more movies from this one. I kept waiting for the second part but never saw anything. Sad because no one hardly ever makes vampire movies and I wish there were more vampire movies being made.
When Batman needed help 02:35
Highly underrated movie. Its pretty good interesting, and we get to see him really use his powers
My fav dracula movie along with can helsing!! Its a shame hollywood blocked the sequel
I'm just here to count the turkish who are claiming for historical accurancy in a vampire movie

Is it just me or this scene can use some brightness 🔆?
Same!!
To dark
I just turned the brightness all da way up on my phone...still can't see shit
It’s a Dracula movie it’s supposed to be dark
Lmao I thoughtI was the only one. This is way too dark. Funny thing is, watching iton DvD it wasnt dark at all. Or at least, not like this. This darkness is the youtubers fault, lol
I have never seen this movie but I think that it deserves a part two of it
Whenever an army is marching against something supernatural in a movie. The troops never sit there and think, "Well crap.... this seems like a really bad idea. Im going to go home and rethink my life's choices."
This should have been the start of universals dark universe
Luke est un acteur trop génial !!! il est magistral dans le rôle de Dracula et dans tous ses rôles.. il n'a pas la carrière qui le mérite je le trouve absolument génial à chaque fois!!
Luke is too great an actor!! he is masterful in the role of Dracula and in all his roles. He doesn't have the career that deserves it I find him absolutely great every time!!
Love this movie, perfect actor for it Luke Evans.
This was/is such beautiful storytelling. 💙💙💙
Dracula Untold should have been THE 1st Film for The Dark Universe.
@@stainshield , was it the mummy with Tom Cruise instead?
@@thebastardgift yes and putting Tom Cruise in The Mummy was a mistake, because why would anybody start a Franchise with a man pushing 60 and who comes with baggage.
