Hey Cavan, I recently watched your video when you briefly talked about the Cafe and how you don't feel particularly welcomed there. As a new user on the Cafe, I'm having quite a similar experience. Particularly in the mentalism section. I follow the rules and etiquette, and I feel like I'm acting extremely kind and mature, and even find myself walking on egg shells just to make sure I dont rattle anyone. But people, especially one person in particular (20k+ posts), always seem to accost me. I know you dont know the specifics, so I don't expect you to side with me completely (we're magicians after all, skepticism is in our nature), but I just wanted to thank you about sharing your views on the Cafe as it's helped me a lot with my self esteem in regards to these situations. Love the videos man. Dont let anyone ever convince you that youre ruining magic. You're making it much better for everyone by genuinely wanting to help others improve their craft. Unlike some people.
The cafe can be toxic. Magicians can be toxic. There are a lotta of them that are told they are amazing by spectators and it goes to their head but, they arent famous like blaine and they think the world has cheated them.
In vegas a lot are like they are on the cafe but in person. Its not you, it's them.
There are plenty of good ones. The loudest are the jerks.
That flick book at the end was actually a pretty neat take on a prediction routine. Simple and very easy to come up with patter for.

Dare I admit I’ve purchased some of these. AND I do need instructions 😂😂😂 There is a brass die I just got love it. Had to teach myself the effect… again no instructions but pretty proud I figured it out!😂

I love Temu. I have sent them well over a dozen orders. Their mens rings and sunglasses are a terrific value. I have gotten a few bad items but they promptly refunded me. Yes some of the itmes are pretty cheap but so is their price! Free shipping too!

Instead I went for the rocket book
I’d have to double check how the spinning top works.. but I think you move the weight by pushing down on it and leaning it towards the number you want.. then spin it.. have that in my kids magic kit

The "chalk" is made from foam because it originally was a cigarette cutter and it is meant to be a stand-in for a cigarette.
That 'Knight' is defo a pirate...
Interesting but they performed the appearing flower wrong yes you stick it inside the wand but you are supposed to make the flower appear inside the flower pot not on the bottom of the flower pot
I got a few temu tricks because I'm learning. Why don't they include instruction?. Would really help out.

With the spinning top. You cam force any number by pushing down the bottom and the number you want. Its weighted. But kinda rubbish
