So you invited the Americans to travel that whole way and not tell them that they need to be IRATA in order to actually go over the edge.... That's pretty messed up....
tone the down music a peg or two both volume and the actual style. its like all that reality tv crap where the sound track sounds like an invasion from mars while on screen a guy is changing a light bulb. Its more interesting with out the music
The first time I did chair work I used a cylender. I hate those is rather use a rack system. It's much safer and I'm pretty sure they banned the cylender in Pennsylvania.
I’ve been working for 4 years in Australia and no one work with cylinders or racks, they are only for recreational use around here. I imagine is the same in UK. Also, we all need to be Irata Certified and the only descenders allowed are for industrial use like Petzl Rig, I’d , sparrow, Sirius .. I wonder why not to use them, as they are the most safe option with self locking ..
One thing that is great about this series of films is what we learned. I remember when planning the film before we made it, I visited Jack in London and we talked about the US team going over the edge with his team. Like in a competing style. At this point, we thought they had the appropriate tickets and set up for the UK market. It was only when we got closer to filming that we discovered Nevada had a bunch of different rules on what might be allowed and what was not. Me being me, I seized on this unplanned drama for the camera and we did not tell the Lake Tahoe crew or Carrie that they were not allowed to go over on the ropes here in the UK for extra impact. It worked a treat for the camera and Jamie was visibly surprised in the film, which is what I hoped.... it was also an important illustration of the strict rules in the UK and it demonstrated that well I think, both sides learned a lot :)
I admire anyone who has the balls to clean windows at height when I get nervous just climbing up my ladder. But at whatever height you gotta do a better job of cleaning those sills guys and gals!
The music was way loud. I had hard time hearing what people were saying.
