She really does, Ella wasn't even supposed to be a "hugger". But in her first scene on the show, when she met Lucifer and hugged him, that was improvised. She just decided to hug him and the directors loved that so they made that part of her character.

OMG! No pun intended. Just watched 2nd to last episode of this season. Mind blown. Charloette... Amenadiel... Maze... So many twists and turns. "I'm the Devil." - Lucifer "No you're not... Not to me." - Chloe Simple lines performed to perfection that it makes the viewer care for both characters profoundly. One more episode before seasons end, sigh. All cast & crew deserve raises in their salaries. Bravisimo!

I like Tom Welling but if were being brutally honest his character was the problem in season 3, honestly he was too wooden imo, he did NOT as someone said 'keep it afloat' at all. It was too long, the story dragged on and there was too much filler. It was a good story up to the half way point, then it got out of hand. Season 4 was on point👌 it was everything it should've been, much more succinct and driven, I've honestly never seen a show turn itself around like that. Writers got carried away on season 3, 4 and 5.1 have been much more focused.
