Slow start to my Saturday when I am excited see episode 16 available and then realise I had missed 15! Another cup of tea and vids before those lawns need doing. Cheers for the reviews, tips and entertainment.
You guys have become a Saturday staple in our household., like many other viewers. Another great video highlighting travel through WA from the busy to the quiet with little family life segments such as checking out Chloes new rig....better watch the weights on that one, and poor Tiff almost caught out in the Wild. Hubby and I are planning to hit the road in March 2021...if the Victorian border ever opens up again. So until then, WIld Touring is our GoTo travel WA fix.
Having traveled all over this great country and my wife having the sand flees make a meal of her legs along the North West Coast. She found by accident that Deep Heat takes away the itching, so any of the muscle rubs with Camphor works mate. Have proved it with other friends, Get to it before you scratch if possible. Cheers
Your video's are fantastic and we look forward to new episodes each week. Loving all the free camps, adding the good one's as favourites for when we next get to visit WA.
Great trip guys. Love how real you are, flatteniing patties with tuna tins!! Class...ep 14 i know. Also when a pulley bearing gets noisey you can flip the seals out and pack more grease in then refit the seals, just a tip like. Thanks for the entertainment!!!
My country, one thing alot of people don't know and miss very easily is when driving through coongan gorge on the bitumen heading towards marble bar is the rocks shaped as animals on the hills as your driving through the winding roads of the coongan
Great footage once again 'Tourings', we live in such an AWESOME state of Australia ! The battle of the legs and wings was pretty... wow... Do you have many ecounters of the 8-legged kind on your travels? Not a real fan of those critters. Thanks again for your posts, love 'em - Peter V.
Great vid guy's loved the fight scene, obviously Chloe is having a ball she is such a hard case, over here in Vic things are slowly opening up so with luck we will be out vanning it soon then over to WA next year sometime.Keep the vids coming I look forward to them each week.
Love your work guys, envious of your trip but looking forward to our own trip in a couple of years. Just about to buy a new Ranger and fit it out. Maybe we see you in 2024 😁 Keep up the great work Cheers from Tassie
Don't know what I'm going to do when you guys finish travelling lol I might have to stop living vicariously through you and actually travel myself lol.
Hi guys I got smashed by sand fly’s recently in Onslow. I discovered that regular (3+ times per day) thick applications of that hand sanitizer gel helped a lot. It cleared it up in a week 👍👍
Just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Great to see another Perth RUclipsr. Your daughter is adorable. Just about to subscribe
Hi Guys, Another great video, always entertaining and great filming. How do you know if there are crocs or not while swimming ? Seeing a video on road side repacking bearings would be good. I will keep a lookout for it. Looking forward to next weeks Ep. All the best.
There are usually signs, or we Google/look at reviews of wikicamps. Crazy though as up Kununurra way there is always a risk of salties and the swim beaches they have there are monitored but you can never be 100% sure! We got told Pender Bay up in Cape Leveque was croc free but a month later a man was bitten by one when our spear fishing!
My wife and I are loving this series. We have binged up to here over 3 nights and my wife says it’s her new favourite show. Just a quick question about the type inflator attachment you added to your compressor. Just wondering what brand it is and where you got it. Cheers.
Hey guys. New subscriber. Currently binge watching your big lap series. Thanks to the "hey Google" reference in the vid thought I'd let you know my Google hub which is right next to the tv let me know it's 52 hours drive from Brisbane to marble bar 😂😂😂
Hi guys, love the vids. Keep them coming You mentioned that you can't download RUclips videos, but on my Android phones and tablets, I'm able to download videos through the RUclips and the RUclips kids apps for off line viewing. All totally legal and legitimate. I do it for my 4yo and 6yo kids for long trips too.
Have you tried BITE AWAY, sold by Equip Health Systems in O'Connor WA, (& eBay) we have two, never leave home without one, like you - every bug in the bush will bite and or sting me. Like your very hot water, 51 Deg C on the bite/sting for six seconds. Enjoy your vids
roll on deodorant works a treat on sand fly bites it takes the sting out, those wasps paralysing the spiders are great to watch, and another great video thanks again love it
Hi you guys, why the free wheeling hubs? I have an MUX and they are part time/full time 4wd as is the DMax. You guys do a really good weekly piece of travel around WA, if Emu beer doesn't sponsr you the WA gov should. well done.
Less wear and tear on CVs and if I do break a CV I can unlock the hub and drive home without having to repair track side. Haha a beer sponsorship would be just beaut!
Good one 👍 Being locked up in Victoria, living vicariously thru your uploads. You mentioned you had to use lockers to get thru the soft river sand . What lockers do you run? Cheers
Bizarrely I was barracking for the spider🤪 Great video again. Are you over the red dirt or do you just become immune?🤔 Just wondering....now WA are planning to open their borders are you going to explore out of yr state? Do you have the time left?
The red dirt doesn't bother us, but we are definitely ready to be moving south. On the Pilbara coast this time of the year it's either windy or hot and swarms of flies inland! Weighing up our options now. Still have a couple of months to I reckon we will make a dash across borders!
Whilst watching this episode I was wondering how much bolt tightening Cam was doing and just like that he spoke about it.👍 A question for Cam, I’m doing all the prep work for our trip starting next April ( unless our Politicians say different); would it be beneficial to lock tight bolts or would that create a secondary issue when removing those bolts at a later time? 🤔🤔 Also, 10/10 for editing, drone shots and music choice....the mortal kombat overlay was classic in the fight scene 😂🤣👍
Cam, you mentioned that you needed to use "lockers" when you almost got stuck in the river sand. Is the Dmax twin locked? What type of lockers do you run, air or e-lockers? Great episode as usual.
Nah mate hasn’t been an issue. A few times we’ve woken up to a tiny bit around the pop top skirt but all good otherwise. We normally sleep with atleast a window or roof hatch slight open
Not really sticking to any solid budget. It's averaging out at around $1200 weekly. But that doesn't include the costs of keeping our house (mortgage /bills). Can be done a lot cheaper if you travel slower, free camp more and skip attractions/eating out.
Slow start to my Saturday when I am excited see episode 16 available and then realise I had missed 15! Another cup of tea and vids before those lawns need doing. Cheers for the reviews, tips and entertainment.
Thanks guys. Love your travels. Look forward to seeing the bearings regressed.😘👍
Being posted this Wednesday 👌
Cheerz for the vids. I appreciate that you show the areas you go to.
Cheerz and beerz

Good advice Glenn. Will give it a crack next time.
Another great video. Amazing country. Thanks for the video we’re certainly enjoying your travelogue. Safe travels.
Another awesome video guys. Great drone footage. Loved the fight scene. You make Saturdays enjoyable. See you next week.👍👍
I don't think there has been a single episode yet where I haven't said WOW at least once. Great story, great team, epic pictures.
Absolutely AMAZING!!. Loving the videos, Cam and Tiff, All the best.
I look forward to this ever week so thank you so good
Your video's are fantastic and we look forward to new episodes each week. Loving all the free camps, adding the good one's as favourites for when we next get to visit WA.
Another fantastic episode! Looks like amazing country. Can't wait to get there. Thanks for sharing guys.
Beautiful, gees Australia is an amazing place, I've never been to WA, it's on the bucket list, but WOW!!! Thanks for showing the red.
Another great vid, the best drone footage. Cheers.
I love your laid back attitude
Great trip guys. Love how real you are, flatteniing patties with tuna tins!! Class...ep 14 i know. Also when a pulley bearing gets noisey you can flip the seals out and pack more grease in then refit the seals, just a tip like.
Thanks for the entertainment!!!
The length and volume of content in this episode is great 👍 well done guys.
I enjoy following this series more than anything on Netflix😎👍👍
You guys and Trip in a van, are my favorites. 😎👍🏻 Oh Sparkies on the loose as well. 😀
We are loving your videos, thank you for sharing
My country, one thing alot of people don't know and miss very easily is when driving through coongan gorge on the bitumen heading towards marble bar is the rocks shaped as animals on the hills as your driving through the winding roads of the coongan
I did miss that. Next trip ill keep an eye out!
Great vlog guys. Really enjoying your footage and content. Hopefully one day soon we'll get to explore all that WA has on offer 🤞🤞

I have been that way probably 30 times on business over the years and never realised these great recreational areas existed. Thanks for sharing!
And there I was going for the spider...always have to back the underdog!!!
Wow what a adventure so far look forward to the bearing vid be handy to know
Great scenery mate envy ya mate... keep the vids coming
LUCKY you have great family moments,
Thanks again guys, great episode.
enjoyed the flick guys very clever editing on the fight laughing still cheers from Saudi Arabia
Love your work guys, envious of your trip but looking forward to our own trip in a couple of years. Just about to buy a new Ranger and fit it out. Maybe we see you in 2024 😁
Keep up the great work
Cheers from Tassie
Some awesome spots, great video 👌👌👌
Great video guys as always.
Learnt heaps from you guys mate
Cheers 🍻
Great series people keep it up maybe a walk around the van again and show us how its going 👍
Looking forward to seeing the next video
Love ya videos mate! Good on ya for giving the Maggie some water, I would have too! 🍺🍺
A Saturday must watch after the gym!
Exactly, makes it heaps easier when it’s poring like it is where we live about an hour south of Sydney
I also studied geology. What gets us excited on 'polish rocks' is seeing glacial striations....lol
Not sure if it works on midgies but apple cider vinegar slathered on mozzie bites is a game changer, tried and tested many times
A hair dryer is a great way to deal with sand fly bites. As hot as you can stand, right on the bite. 10 seconds is usually enough
Don't know what I'm going to do when you guys finish travelling lol I might have to stop living vicariously through you and actually travel myself lol.
HAHA, classic mortal combat love it mate you look like your having a killer time!
Another great episode 🙂
Loved the Mortal Combat scene. Another great vid guys. Still loving it.
Bahaha love the mortal combat scene!! Another great video
Bad timing for the borders but they can wait. Great vlog. Thanks.
Hi guys I got smashed by sand fly’s recently in Onslow. I discovered that regular (3+ times per day) thick applications of that hand sanitizer gel helped a lot. It cleared it up in a week 👍👍
I am new new to your channel love them keep it up up from South Wales UK
Great ep 👍🤙
Just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos. Great to see another Perth RUclipsr. Your daughter is adorable. Just about to subscribe
My Google Home just told me it is 17 hours and 50 minutes to the Marble Bar Coffee Shop, thanks Tiff.
😂
Great vid’s guys.. we have the 19 foot Jayco itching to get out there soon,
Hi ya, hey your van will benefit greatly from a Lovell's lift kit (springs and shocks). We have a similar setup. Great vids.
Use a paint pen on your bolts so you can see if they have moved. A line off the bolt onto the steel. Might save you time when checking.
great show, following with great interest and I'm starting to really like the Forbes 13
the fight scene , haha epic

The wasp, spider scene was funny
Also, if you subscribe to Disney + you can download programs to your ipad each time you have wifi access. And its only a few bucks a week
You've got a choice of 2 Dome coffee locations in Marble Bar - Newman or Port Hedland.
Port hedland dome was shut!! Tried it 😢
My wife and I are loving this series. We have binged up to here over 3 nights and my wife says it’s her new favourite show. Just a quick question about the type inflator attachment you added to your compressor. Just wondering what brand it is and where you got it. Cheers.

@@WildTouring 😂😂
The trains you will see up near Tom price, (RioTinto) are all automated with no driver, that’s a big robot 👍
Haha - you triggered our google home to list the coffee shops near us :)
😂 it's a sign!
My Google home could not find the listing either
Hi guys, love the vids. Keep them coming

Yeah you must have RUclips premium? We've just recently stared using that too.
Hey Cam and family. I remember in one episode you mentioned a really good mozzy repellent device; what was it? Ta!
Thermacell. Bunnings and most camping stores sell it. Works really well, but refills are pretty costly.
Thanks
@@WildTouring did your hack not work in the end?
No the hack definitely works 😊 just the branded refills are expensive if you choose that method.
@@WildTouring oh, what is the hack? We bought the thermacell, and it does work a treat. But the refills are dear as you warned!
Thumbs up but I'll watch it later 😊
Mortal combat was a crack up, nice work 😂👌
Sandflies what helps for sandflies is antihistamines to stop the itching and a mixture of baby oil and Dettol. Will Keep them off your skin
Have you tried BITE AWAY, sold by Equip Health Systems in O'Connor WA, (& eBay) we have two, never leave home without one, like you - every bug in the bush will bite and or sting me. Like your very hot water, 51 Deg C on the bite/sting for six seconds. Enjoy your vids
rock collecting on a trip, good your aware of your load limits, famous 1950's lucel ball movie quite a towing horror.comedy
😂
roll on deodorant works a treat on sand fly bites it takes the sting out, those wasps paralysing the spiders are great to watch, and another great video thanks again love it
A good repellent is mouthwash in a spray bottle, works good and cheep

Another great video, I always look forward to Saturday morning and seeing the vids 😊. Btw what gas torch are you using?
Just a Bunnings gas torch for brazing. Gas mate is the brand.
Oh the bug bites I hear ya man !!
Good one 👍
Being locked up in Victoria, living vicariously thru your uploads. You mentioned you had to use lockers to get thru the soft river sand . What lockers do you run?

E-locker 👌
@@WildTouring thx for reply

Weighing up our options now. Still have a couple of months to I reckon we will make a dash across borders!
Great content as always. Are you going to go back up n around as the borders are opening on 14th November ?
Nah we are in south west WA now but planning to head over to SA and maybe Uluru too
The Rio tinto trains are 2.6kms long
Some old fella told me put a dry cow pad on a fire it keeps the mozzies away
Whilst watching this episode I was wondering how much bolt tightening Cam was doing and just like that he spoke about it.👍

Thanks mate. I personally wouldn’t bother lock tightening everything. Just bring a bottle with you and keep up with regular check overs 👌
got to stop at that gap place one day.
Cam, you mentioned that you needed to use "lockers" when you almost got stuck in the river sand. Is the Dmax twin locked? What type of lockers do you run, air or e-lockers? Great episode as usual.
Just a rear e-locker 👌
Mate I've got to ask the hockey straps in the back for the hats what size are they buddy. Cheers in advance.
Just a standard bungee 👌
Did you visit the Ironclad at MB? very famous...
Just a drive by 😊 was shut at the time
Another great video, Cam it's good to see fair freckley skin guys batting above their average.
did you stop at mt bruce look out and see Marandoo mine? thats where i work.
That’s what I Designed Stage one that is
Nah we didn’t!
That mortal kombat battle tho 🤣🤣🤣
Cam with the witi anti theft which kit do you have, just looking on line now. 😊
I've got this one 👇
www.witi.com.au/shop/product/57333/witi--wireless-interface--anti-theft/
Make sure you use our discount code if you do buy anything!!!!
'wild' in the coupon section at checkout.
Thanks for that. 🙂
3 mins in, and I’m asking about all the display units on your dash. I know one is a tyre pressure monitor... the rest?
Reverse camera and a OBD2 reader (to read and clear engine codes)
Lavender oil on your sand flies/ fleas works for my wife
Tip, you put the alfoil the wrong way around, shiny side in.
🤯 I didn’t know there was a correct/incorrect side to alfoil! 😱
@@WildTouring wrap 1 spud shiny side in and 1 shiny side out and chuck them in the oven.. makes a big difference.
Hi just wondering if you guys have ever had condensation on the inside walls of your hybrid van?
Nah mate hasn’t been an issue. A few times we’ve woken up to a tiny bit around the pop top skirt but all good otherwise. We normally sleep with atleast a window or roof hatch slight open
We got smashed with bees at Mt Robinson few weeks ago.
Yeah we noticed quite a lot too!
HI, just wanted to ask what navigation app you use
Just been using Google maps! Does the job 😊
How are those phone holders stuck to the dash mate please.
Couple of metal screws into the dash. Not the cleanest install, but bloody solid 😂
@@WildTouring that’s ok, I used lock tight to glue the uhf receiver on the dash a few years back. Bloody solid too.
What sort of budget do you guys allow for ?
Not really sticking to any solid budget. It's averaging out at around $1200 weekly. But that doesn't include the costs of keeping our house (mortgage /bills).
Can be done a lot cheaper if you travel slower, free camp more and skip attractions/eating out.
