I just got a 2015 is 200t f sport today, gonna start putting some parts on. U should check out the toms racing diffuser, makes the rear end look like a rcf
@@studentd440 thanks for the option. I decided to go with the Stillen diffuser because I didn’t want it to look like and RCF. Everyone does that and I want to go against the grain Congrats on your new F-Sport btw!
Love the car mate! I just bought a 2020 IS300 Fsport and absoutley love it so far. My previous car was a 09 camry so I never took an interest into mods/working on my car. Im gonna do the tansowerkz taillight swap for my first project but do you have any advice into learning more about the mods and aftermarket community for a novice in the car field? Any specific advice for 3rd Gen IS aftermarket work? I’m trying to watch videos and read forums but I’m completely lost when it comes to tuning/engine work and more of the complex mods
@@guedrini2045 hey mate!! First off congrats on the new 2020 3IS. It’s a great car and it doesn’t get the credit it really deserves. As far as mods when it comes to power mods it depends on your goal. The 2020 IS300 I believe comes with the 4 cylinder turbo unlike my 2016 which comes with a V6. The same V6 that comes in the 2016 350 is what I have in my car. Regardless after the taillight swap I would head over to RR Racing and start there. They have been the best I can find when it comes to Lexus power mods. Also before anything the best thing you can do for your car is start with what I call a stage 0 tune up. Upgrade all the air filters or change them out, definitely upgrade spark plugs before anything else. This won’t add power but will ensure your car is running at its best and ensure you aren’t losing power due to misfires.
@@ultramotivecoffee thanks for the advice! My car is an Fsport so it comes with the 3.5L V6 and AWD but I believe with the 300s at the factory they detune the engine so its not as powerful as the 350 even tho it’s the same engine and then there’s still incentive to buy a 350 I love ur idea of a stage 0 tune up that seems like the perfect way to understand the car better and get some experience. I think I will wait on the tune and look into swapping the exhaust first. My best friends brother owns a garage so I will see if he can help and kinda walk me thru some things too. I appreciate the help!
@@guedrini2045 yes you are correct about the detune. This is why I bought the 300 with the v6 and tuned it myself. If you are interested in the stage 0 I have a tune up video as well along with an exhaust and RR Racing tune. Oh also a video on the mirror turn signal lights.
@@ultramotivecoffee thanks man I’ll def check ur other videos out! Another thing I want to do as soon as possible is colored calipers. Just that little bit of vibrant color would make a huge difference.
@@guedrini2045 absolutely and I have wanted to paint my calipers but just haven’t found the time to do as this is my daily driver and don’t have enough down time for the drying process to happen
Hey brother, how has rr racing been treating your car in auto normal and sport mode for daily driving? I been thinking of getting rr racing tune for my 17 IS, but worry about performance issue/transmission jerking for auto driving like my style as I don’t know how to drive in manual. Could you please advise? Thank you!
Ya of course, I’ll give you my experience and review. I have had no issues with the tune and I drive in eco mode a lot because I drive a lot and do my best to get the best gas mileage out of the tune. From time to time a lot more then some would think I use sport mode and absolutely love it!! The tune has woken up the car and drives so much better as far as reaction to what I am asking the transmission to do. In my video of the tune I share some of this. I know it’s long video but worth watching.
@@somalismurf anywhere from 17.5 -24.4 mpg. I drive my car and enjoy pushing it from time to time. I truly average more like 19-20 on the daily cruising
Hahaha I already know this and I appreciate you calling me a kid. Makes me feel young. Yes BMW would have been better to mod but as a father of two young children and a fyi, I modded my Lexus because as a grown adult making adult and responsible decisions, my car is almost paid off, why would I go back into debt when I have a perfectly good and reliable sports sedan for my young family 😎 Thanks for sharing your opinion and thoughts on the matter though. I am always down to talk cars.
Looking good! Keep it up my man. 🙂🙌
I appreciate the support man! The video showing me tuning my car is next! At the end of the video I’ll show the acceleration of the car. 🫡

Where did you get that trunk spoiler?
comes with f sport
Yes correct it comes with the F-Sport variant of the car
Unfortunately it still has a Camry Sport look and feel to it. You would have been better off modding a BMW. You kids got a lot to learn. SMH
