My first accessory was the 20 in lite tint MadStad windscreen and I love it. For someone 5ft 7in like myself or 6ft the 20 in is perfect . Adjust to your liking , up down , tilt forward or back a little more.
I love the MadStad screens... they make such a huge difference in ride comfort. I do wish that I had opted for the 20" instead of the 18". Maybe I'll order the 20" later if this one gets pitted or scratched. I've mentioned the 20 in several vlogs since this one, but I should probably make a follow-up video with that recommendation just to save others from making that error. 👍 --QM
I would definitely take it back to the dealer and complain about the twitching, it most likely needs an alignment check. Or maybe try adding the aftermarket sway bar...beefier bar for a more solid feel
Thx for the feedback! I'm wondering if I shouldn't have gone for the 20" instead of the 18"... we'll see how it works out. Have you done any other touring or long-distance mods to your Ryker? 👍 --QM
Agreed! The BRP screen looks a bit like an inverted Ring Pop. It's definitely better than nothing, but the dirty air in the spill-over area was always a little annoying. When compared to the MadStad screen, it's a really drastic difference... the MadStad is much more effective. 👍 --QM
Thanks for the feedback! The camera that I use for most of my vlogs is the GoPro Hero 7 Black paired up with a Cardo Scala G9 microphone (left over from an old bluetooth headset). The camera and GoPro audio adapter are mounted in a Ulanzi vlogging case, and that is attached to the helmet with a MotoRadds chin mount. You can watch a short video here about my helmet setup if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/D_lbmLdenHU/видео.html . Yes, the difference between them is night and day. The MadStad screen is much larger and the buffeting is almost eliminated vs the BRP screen. When you use the sizing calculator on the MadStad ordering page, go for the next size up to give extra headroom if you're between sizes. I calculated 19" and opted for the 18" instead of moving up to the 20" screen... I should have chosen the 20" for a little more coverage. You will still have some spill-over coming through the handlebar area below the screen, but I don't find it to be much of a nuisance. Cheers! 👍 --QM
I thought about the comfort seat, but I just couldn't justify the extra cost. My butt isn't that discerning, and I find that the factory seat is comfortable enough for my needs. I started adding up the price of both the driver and the matching passenger comfort seat, and just wanted to puke... it's WAY too expensive, IMHO. I've purchased entire motorcycles or scooters for less than the price of those two seats. 😉👍 --QM
Howdy, Kelvin! The MadStad screen works very well because its adjustable for height and rake. If you need more airflow, then you can quickly detach it from the bike (takes 15 seconds) and then you're back to naked Rykin'. 😉👍 --QM
Yes, the windscreen really helps to keep the wind off of your torso and helmet. You can adjust it for more or less flow, depending on the weather and your preferences. 👍 --QM
That is the MadStad Engineering 18" screen for the Ryker: madstad.com/collections/can-am/products/can-am-ryker-2019 . I previously had the Can-Am Sport windscreen, but it didn't work well for me... too much turbulence around the edges. Cheers! 👍 --QM

I'm 5'8 running the clear 20" madstad shield. It looks perfect.

@@QuasiMotard haven't taken any long trips. I mainly got it to just toy around town. I live in the city.
I really like my madstad windshield. Looks better, better coverage and doesn't look like a pacifier on the front of the trike.

Is it a big upgrade over the brp? The brp unit does nothing for me. Looking to cut down on wind noise.

You should have bought a comfort seat. Though do like your new screen.

How does this windshield work with this heat and humidity? In terms of airflow?

QuasiMotard Thank you great video if you ever ride down Hwy 6 near Pearland let me know
Is this windscreen help alot for the cold morning ride?

Is the the touring windshield or sport?

$100 for the OEM windscreen?
