This is mind blowing... there was a tree of the knowledge of Good and evil in the midst Eden there were trees and fruits with a river flowing through Eden? and yet Eden is not a physical place? please some one throw more light on this... I will like to describe Eden this way in one of my work...basic undestanding is needed pls.
Yes there was a physical place called Eden... probably a large area that encompassed the Euphrates to the Red Sea centered at Mt Moriah. However, the meaning of Eden and the experience of Adam which applies to us is what Dr. Munroe says.

Has anybody found Eden written in number of strokes and each stroke in the word Eden means something different. I cant find it please help me understand this I have a break though if this is true..

this is years and years of studying ....The things of God cannot be easily understand by someone that is looking for an instant (microwave) answer ....Myles Munroe is absolutely on point with this revelation about Eden ....It is called a 'revelation' because it needs to be 'revealed'...If this has not been revealed to you by The Holy Spirit , you'll obviously not be able to understand what he is explaining ...

Ok so The garden of Eden wasn't somewhere near north eastern Turkey? And the word "eden" does not mean delight?
Yes isn't that interesting... some say it is in or near Jerusalem because God is faithful to geography... he has favored places He would visit with His presence.
It is a psychological condition, a state of mind, and being, a certain level of consciousness. A delightful one, like a paradise, a righteous attitude brought on by a probate mindset. Creating moments of goodness and soundness of mind. Our life is a series of moments and consequences strung together To be one with God, or to walk with God as it says about Adam befall the fall, once he left that "place" in his mind to go along another path as did Cain. Like what happens when anger and rage take over, or despair and agony, hatred, and a multitude of other negative emotional states. Providing a sense of goodness in one's world, peace of mind, joyfulness, contentment, and an overall sense of happiness. What he is saying is that we take it with us wherever we may go as long as we remain in that "place" of mind. Good fruits are more abundantly produced from a well-kept garden, a metaphor for our probate mind of divine thought and wisdom, free from bad seed (thoughts) that will prosper just as well as the good seed when nurtured. We must guard against letting the weeds, or tares, take over. Might you be aware of the meanings behind the names of the four rivers that flow out of Eden? That which flows out of such a mindset? I have a good link if you are interested. It may help your understanding.
Also, I should have mentioned our moods. They certainly affect our behavior and sense of well-being, our attitude toward others, and how we are perceived to be by others.

I study biblical Hebrew and I am now in a course for advanced Biblical Hebrew.
But I must tell you that only one statement he makes can be backed by the bible and the Hebrew language.
The definition of Eden being pleasure, delights.
All other definitions are totally wrong and can not be backed up with proof. He just tells you it has 5 meanings , but doesn't say how or why it has 5 meanings. He says Eden was not an actual physical place but the bible gives exact names of the rivers, and countries , like Ethiopia, clear and distinct. It can't be found for one because they earth suffered a flood that altered and changed the landscape and the entire earth itself.
Ancient letters were for the most part pictures of natural things that's evolved into letters, like the head of an ox which turned into the first letter of the Hebrew " Alef".
Ayin was formed from the pictures of an eye. It's not they strokes that gives a meaning but the completed letter , then the word , the the sentence then the paragraph then the chapter ,and so on, you get what I'm saying. I'll be totally honest with you and I know that this will create enemies but here at is.
There's much error in the teachings of Miles Monroe , much error. I know the danger of slander and bad mouthing people of God , but for years I saw serious error in his teachings.

Oh please can somebody show me the proof of Dr. Myles Munroe's defenition of Eden? !!! Because I really want to use it in our congregation. I already tried a lot of times to look on google i... e... Spot + Moment + Open door + Presence + Delightful place for the Hebrew word EDEN; but counldn't fine any except "Delightful"that's all.

The Bible stories are all about human psychology and how the various states or places of consciousness affect us mentally and physically. Our intangible thought-world is the spirit realm of our otherwise carnal being. Psyche is Greek for the soul, mind, or spirit. It holds other meanings too, such as one's life force. It is our essence, the condition of which will make or break us. Where we dwell psychologically depends on what we dwell on, some are almost always in a bad "place' while others are almost always in a good "place". One's sense of well-being is either heavenly or hellish and many go to and fro. I could go on more about the Garden of Eden story and its characters and how they relate to the mind. The mind is like a ghost in a machine and is not the same as the brain.

Many tend to be self-serving, self-indulgent, and egotistical. Our egotistical carnal nature can be detrimental in the short term, but especially in the long term. Now, the carnal mind does have its place, but it makes a better servant than a master.
@Lameekia You are welcome. I hope it provides some good insights for you. There are potentially many good things that may come from a divine mindset. An immaculate conception is all about that. It is about the concepts of the clean mind and the goodness that is manifested through them. Having greatly multiplied sorrow from one's conceptions, the curse of Eve, does not speak of painful childbirth, but of what is born out of an egotistical carnal mindset, much sorrow and regret you see. Procreational conception and labor pains are different things, the former is usually somewhat pleasurable. A Christ-like persona can only come if we change our ways for the better way, replacing our old Self with a better Self. A transformation of the mind is required for such an event to occur. There are varying translations for the following verse, but the meaning appears to be consistent. Matthew 16:25, "For whoever seeks to preserve his own life shall lose it, but he that gives it up for my sake shall keep it." No, it is not about suicide, but sort of. Not all lives, lifestyles, or mindsets are worth preserving. Our old Self must die, so to speak, so that the new creature can live with life more abundantly, having a happy, prosperous, and fulfilling life that is.
