I deal with pre-loved LV bags. Each item bought from them has a serial number, the buyer for each item is in the system. To authenticate each new item I would contact LV and get that information. Have fun. Brown boxes indicate older items.

Partially Correct - They are Actually Called Date Codes, But Many Newer Bags Don't Have Date Codes, They Now Use Chips
