Reading is escapism. I grew up with a mom that encouraged it because she was big reader. We had quiet, reading times and it has stuck with me as an adult. Make it a family activity as much as you can!
Glad you are taking care of your mental health. Sometimes as moms, we can take care of everyone but ourselves.

I’m sorry to hear about your relationship with your mom, but I get it. Just because someone is family doesn’t mean that they have access to you. You have every right to protect yourself and your family. I’m going through something similar.

So glad to see u back.. I have been finding a lot of good stuff at the Dollar tree lately also!! Those hooks for the towels didn't work to well for me but however I use them for my bath sponges!🌸
