Also, Just on a side note, i would like to mention we, the viewers can't here the questions asked by the people at MIC.
It would be nice if the sheikh repeated the question to the camera before giving his answer.

Dear Sheikh and Brother Abu Ammar Yasir Qadhi a couple questions plz if you may...
    1) Why does it always take a few weeks to upload your 'Sahaba Series' videos? Because (for e.g) the Jummah Khutbas are usually uploaded on the same day?
    AND
    2) When will you do a lecture on Abdullah Ibn Zubayr (ra)? :)
    JZK

I don't think other scholars sugar quote anything but explain it better. I'm sure your intentions are good, but it seems from the way you speak that some of the things were wrong despite saying it yourself that's weakness in iman.
Now without sugarcoating anything, let me tell you how I feel about it all:
We are looking at slavery from today's perspective when we have plenty of jobs, food, etc. Slavery in those days was a necessity and suddenly making it haram would be equivalent to closing all major industries today. Moreover, morals are limited to our understanding and just because something doesn't seem right to us doesn't make it wrong. Furthermore, slavery exists even today; it's just been modernised and fancy titles attached.
I enjoy listening to your lectures, but too many times I find you to be doubtful and give the wrong impression to your listeners, albeit unintentionally.
    Allah knows best.

Hiron Ali I totally agree with you. Sh yasir qadhi may allah bless him for his great work. It seems like this is a sensetive topic for him and it is totally normal but personally I see no difficulties in understandig and swallowing this topic since we have to take in to considaration the time and agen of the issue which was 1400 year ago.
