      @@jeframp3805 If you damage your tone, thats a damage that will cost your voice. Thatrs what happened to her. No matter how good her technique was, if the tone isnt strong, then nothing will work.

    • @jeframp3805
      @jeframp3805 3 года назад +16

      @@eurech I suppose. However listen to Bonnie tyler and its a heart ache. She had vocal chord damage but her technique was still there and she can still sing in key its just raspy and thats what got her several top 10s. Aretha Franklin had that type of tone managed to sing with different techniques and it was a different from her early stuff but songs like "whos zoomin who" reached number 1 still. think about Kim Carnes, Pete Burns and Rod Stewart or Curt Cobian. They are different genres but it shows for certain songs that type of tone can work.You are right with that tone she'd never sing the same again and "I will always love you" did not sound that amazing, but other songs did sound ok and its not to say she couldn't sing, we are used to her having a clear tone thats all. "Tell me no" and "nothing but love" sounded fairly decent and the songs suited a lower tone.

    This song touched so many people kim was flawless but THIS WAS WHITNEY TESTIMONY . This wasn’t just a song for her this song told her LIFE.. these words wasn’t just words this was her conversation with GOD! Put to a melody for all of us to hear! Many can sing this song, But none can duplicate the soul that came out when this woman sang it.

    She just understood her instrument so well. Whatever condition her voice is in she knew how to use it, what to do what not to do, what not to force and when to acceptingly let Kim take over because she knows that's the better choice.

    I actually liked the raspy voice on Whitney in her later days tbh. I think sometimes we failed to realized yes I know , I am sure the drugs contributed to her voice change. But Whitney was also a 19/20 something year old when she first released her biggest hits. None the less she still had a gift at the end

      What an irresponsible comment. Covid19 will be slowed once people start to keep distance and taking hygiene measures seriously. And it will finally be gone once a vaccine is created. If anything, Lord is shaking his head above clouds at what is happening down here and wishes you to stop sending your responsibilities to him and contribute to saving Earth.
