Really very much informative video. I just want to know that how much quantity of the charge is put in furnace at one time ? Is it almost completely filled upto about 80 feet height of the furnace or it is partially filled upto about 10- 15 feet at regular intervals ? Does all the charge fell down in the furnace in few seconds or it is made to come to the bottom from top of the furnace slowly ?
Hi, the clip has a mistake T0:50 sec. The most abundant metal in earth´s crust is aluminum. One reference could be Wikipedia, but it is not the only one that shows aluminim like the most abundant metal in the earth´s crust. Reference en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abundance_of_the_chemical_elements#:~:text=The%20mass%2Dabundance%20of%20the,%25%2C%20and%20titanium%200.61%25.
Sir after dressing and roasting of ore.. maximum of the impurities are removed out.. then why are we using limestone as flux for removing impurities? Does it means, there are some impurities which can be removed by limestone in the form of slag?
Yes. Silicon dioxide is the primary unwanted material that comes with the ore charge. The calcium carbonate in the limestone reacts with the silicon dioxide that's mixed up with the ore to form calcium silicate. Since limestone is essentially calcium carbonate, it's an optimum material to get rid of the silicon dioxide.
@@karthikr3044 Iron is the second abundant element element in the earth's crust ...where as aluminum is most abundant among metals... and also the third most on earth's crust 😇
Thank you for this very good explanation you answered all my questions Bravo 👍🤓
Greatest animation ever ever...jist love it 😍😍😍😘😘😚😚😚😚
No other explanation of iron smelting matches it. Very well explained👍
Best video so far on blast furnace
Best video for blast furnace...thanks a lot
thx sir for this explanation...
nice explanation please upload more videos about extraction
What a fantastic explanation sir
super superb sir explanation is too good..
Beautifully explained
Thank you so much for this video
Was amazing, tnxx 😃😃
Awesome animation I loved it

Most abundant metal in Earth crust is Aluminium (0:52)
Thanks
Yeah, Iron is the second most avdundant.

During 1200 century the iron piller are used in orissa India
Nice explanation
Who here is doing jee?
blast furnace inside:
zone of reduction 400-700
zone of fusion 1000
zone of combustion 2000
I'm here cuz of my engineering teacher
Besttttt
can we use your video for free edcational service program
yes u can
@@avinash5535 THANK YOU SIR

Is Iron the most abundant metal found in Earth's crust?
Sandeep Sahoo it is the fourth most abundant metal found in Earth's crust
you tech for u, I think O, Si, Al then Fe. First 2 are not metal I will be 2nd most abundant.
Aluminium is first after iron
