Well Pat's heart didn't end up exploding...gives me hope for a future that has at least one song by Pat involved in it, though I get that he wants to distance himself from music and his past...fuck I feel selfish for wanting him to write more songs...he's just so good at it...one of the few musicians I've ever related to. If he's really done then I wish him the best, and if he isn't then I wish him the same.
I think he'll be back some day. He won't be the same but I don't expect him to be. I disagreed with a lot of his politics and the things he's trying to be distant from now, but I still love his music. He's a gifted songwriter. I just hope when he gets back he's not hard to find.

I can say in my experience tthat play songs and writing my own material is so gratifying and relieves alot of pressure n etc. problem is my brain is so f@@@ed it thinks i need speed like (crystal) just to be creative and makd news songs or enjoy playing my instrument in general. So for me my own honest and favorite hobby is a HUGE trigger to use heavy drugs for me. Every song ive wrote and memorized so far ive been high on Ice...all except 2. I was really thankful for getting to experience it, it was also my friend's birthday that I brought along too. Being one of his favorite bands he couldn't of had a better night. I hadn't known they recorded the show until a few days ago when another friend of mine told me.
I heard of Pat first a few months ago. I didn't get to see this show live but Ramshackle is just on repeat in my headphones at work. Watching this keeps making me grin and I feel silly. I just love it so much. I think you have won at music when the audience sings every song.

Ramshackle Glory playing their very last show is heart breaking, but definitely one of the shining moments of my life to be there and experience the emotion that was felt that night. The entire festival definitely made an impact on my life that will last forever

They've released a song off the album that costs a buck to buy/listen to for charity (broken heart) which has pat on main vox, and I'm sure he has front on the rest of the album since it's ramshackle glory and the new band(s) to form out of it refuse to go by the same name or songwriting style. If Pat's only on that one song when they release the album they would feel like shit for pretending it was a Ramshackle album.

Unfortantly back in july 2016 I was severly entrapped in my heavy crystal/smack addictions and problems. It was what I lived for an all I could focus on. it's because 1.) Plan-it-X was based out of Bloomington, IN which is ~30mins from Spencer. 2.) For the most part, PIX Fest has been hosted either in Spencer or in Bloomington. 3.) IN offers a central location for various parts of the US where a lot of folk punk bands are based out of. 4.) we in Indiana are more than our god-awful vice president and our backwards reputations. no offense taken, but if you don't know the significance of folk punk in Indiana, you need to read up on our local music communities. we have them. even a place "like that" can breed brilliant artists.
