      @@dimensionswoodworks you know... it's a long story.
I was just talking to Ron Paulk about it. But have you ever watched a Lefty using a track saw?
I'm a former lefty, and I never realized how much work a right blade track saw was for right-handed people until I had to use it that way.
There are several issues, but the biggest issue is having the saw on the left side of you're body for ripping cuts. Like making long French Cleats, or simply ripping down a sheet of plywood.
I see righties stretch, twist, lean, and even climb upon their workpieces.
Only one company makes a proper right-handed track saw, and they're horrible.
Right-handed people don't know what they're missing. Its like they love eating bologna, and never heard of a Porterhouse steak. (Or a vegetarian eating Iceberg Lettuce, and never trying a salad. Lol).
Think about it one day. Put the track to your right, with the splinter guard on the left and imagine different cuts. Using one hand and just slowly walking down a sheet of plywood. Ohhh I miss that so much now that I'm a righty.

@@carterscustomrods it definitely puts you in awkward positions at times, but the beauty of the track is that you can move and reset, while never sacrificing accuracy. And for as may right hand only tools out there, i think we can give a bit for better, cleaner, dead on cuts that previously I would’ve made with a skil saw.
Also why I think a lot of folks put down foam and cut on the ground, it helps those weird angles of attack you get on a bench that’s against a wall.

      @@dimensionswoodworks that's true.
I mean, I use a track still... just nit a "tracksaw". I use a left blade Makita with an adapter on it. It's the only way I can make straight(ish) cuts. Every righty that I can physically show, and describe it all to in person, just has their jaw hit the floor when it clicks.
Have you ever seen a lefty using a right blade track saw? They can keep track on left and do everything one handed. They don't want Left blade track saws. They are the one tool that left handed people can say , is built for them.
I mean, yeah, the foam, the jigs, they are all functional. Righties can obviously use a right-blade TS. But you can also drive screws in with a hammer drill... but an impact driver is a revelation if you've only ever driven screws in drill driver.
It's hard to imagine, since it's not a tool anyone can just go buy to test out. Check out my pal Leo at Hand-I-Craft here on RUclips. He was a righty, but he now is a lefty, and watch how he works his tracksaws... it's so much better.
