Did you water your pile of wood chips and turn during the year it sat. I am doing the same thing. Love your yard and seeing what you are doing. Thank you for sharing.
I got turned just a couple of times. Definitely could have used more but I use the compost from the edges at the bottom and it’s amazing. We do get a lot of rain here so didn’t water extra
