Skeletons in Skyrim : *die in one puch* Skeletons in Daggerfall : *make you rethink character creation a dozen times until you can finally finish the tutorial dungeon*
@@skeletonking4119 Daggerfall skeletons are good at dodging your attacks compared to other enemies that you'd be fighting at lower levels even if your skill is somewhat reasonable (like 30% in long blade or whatever). And then another thing to consider is that skeletons are the only enemies that are resistant (but not immune) to slashing damage. So they can definitely take a few hits from your sword before they finally die especially if you keep rolling for 1 damage on a sword that does 1 to 9 damage. This is just one of the many reasons why it's good to have something like hand-to-hand as a backup. Since the starting dungeon was mentioned in the OP, hand-to-hand is also great since there's an imp in the beginning and imps are immune to iron and steel swords but not immune to fists.
