Bhaiya I am dropper but I don't think I will be able to get into iiser or niser this year as second droppers are also allowed next year, I am thinking about taking apartial drop for iat. Can you suggest anything that I should do.
Hello, though this question was for Vivek Bhaiya, but I am still replying coz I was in a similar situation last year and I too took the partial drop. But unfortunately I was unable to make it to IISERS/NISERS, though that doesn't means partial drop is bad or anything, it's just me that I was unable to cope up with two different things and there was also some health issues in between. So the thing I want to say is that, there is alway 2 sides of a coin, and when you think about taking a full drop you might feel pressurized internally and also from family and peers that you have wasted 2 years but this allows you to fully dedicate your time to study for IAT/NEST. On the other hand on taking a partial drop helps in maintaining the mindset that you are atleast doing something, but in that case managing college exams and attendance can be a hectic thing. And also in that case you must read for college semester exams as well, coz if you get a back in first year (that I will get most likely as due to my health issues, I didn't study well) then your courseload will get doubled if not more in second year of college.. So that's my point, you must consider everything before coming at a conclusion. . If you have any further queries, I'm happy to help. . P.s. from your surname, I'm assuming that are from Odisha, if that's the case then you can consider SCS college of puri for a partial drop. There attendance doesn't matter much, though you will need to handle the professors' Scolding, but at the end: No pain no gain :)

I'm doing bsc statistics so the coursework is similar and not that big of an issue. I was sick on the day of the IAT exam so I wasn't able to do well and got ranked in the 4000s. Though I have done well in Nest I don't think I will get a seat this year. Please give me any advice that you have to prepare as a partial dropper.

And for iat/nest, resume from here only, i.e. don't start again from beginning of everything. Continue this question to theory approach for the chapters which you have already done, and practice as many qs as possible. Rest, if you want to start a new chapter, imo, watch onshots from youtube itself of JEE, and practice questions of iat/nest. Rest it all depends on you.

i had uploaded class 10th marksheet black and white print in the column of class 10th marksheet before 13th may when iat forms were supposed to be closed now i wanted to change it to original but it was not showing option to reupload the original one so i submitted please tell will i be able to take participate in the iiser counselling 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I didn't qualify by 6 marks in IACS. 🙂. I failed in jee mains 2023, IAT 2023, Nest 2023, jee mains 2024, IAT 2024. And my nest preparation is not that good.
@@BlossomingNymph I guess for general it is 58, or 57.98 to be exact, in PCM (compulsory subjecs). The marks of bio/computer science will be considered along with the interview marks to make the final merit list of students after the interview.

I think you should not fix particular field of physics at this time Bcoz physics has lot of sub fields What you can do is just explore the the whole physics And as time passes it will become clear that in which field you have to do research
