Incredible playing!!!!! Wonderful tone, intonation, voicing...wow! Prior to this I had only known of Sauret from his Paganini #1 candenza. Under appreciated ....like Alessandro Rolla!
Nazrin, you play with such superlative technique and style.... To me, your artistry is like a window to the nobilty within your soul. I appreciate your dedication to music and the violin far more than I can express with words. I still wonder how the Schumann and the Bruch second concertos would sound in your hands - simply terrific, I am sure. (The valse reminds me of DeBeriot, only I believe it is 100 times more difficult than anything DeBeriot ever wrote.)
I listened to the 4 cd that you recorded on these caprices.it sound just incredible and it's technically perfect. I think everything the composer wrote on the score is perfectly respected. After more than 4 years working on this repertoire you probably have the best expertise regarding the works composed by Emile Sauret... You know there is a lot of repertoire wroten by him ...Then ,is there any chance you will record the other works of his repertoire ?
Superb! I reviewed your CDs for American Record guide, and I strongly recommended them! You are a remarkable violinist and better than several very famous ones that I could name!
Congratulations on your revival for the music of this incredible master I've always been curious about his music ever since I heard so many people commenting on how difficult his cadenza for the Paganini concerto is to play.
i've always been a fan of unplayed, little known virtuoso fiddle music, so for a violin nerd like me, these recordings of Sauret's music is a godsend. really world-class playing! but it occurs to me, why are these op. 64, and his other etude collections virtually unknown, while everybody knows Paganini, Wieniawski, Ernst? i think part of it is that they're just too long. they just go on and on and on. there's hardly any that could be used as an encore after a concerto. and to be honest, i don't think the musical content is good enough to support the length. that's why there are so few three hour movies. the content has to be extraordinary to sustain something that long, if these were just half the length or less, they'd be more accessible, both for listening, and for students to tackle.

Maestra
этому чудному этюду длинной в концерт не помешало бы легкое сопровождение клавира или оркестра.
